ATLANTA — The House Rules Committee voted Wednesday evening to advance a resolution that would strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from all of her committee assignments.

Greene represents Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.

The North Georgia congresswoman has been facing backlash over the last couple of weeks after Facebook posts and past comments have come to light showing support of conspiracy theories surrounding school shootings and the 9/11 attacks.

Will the House Rules Committee be holding a vote soon on, say, stripping Rep. Cori Bush’s (D-MO) committee assignments for her role in the ‘mostly peaceful’ invasion of a private, gated community? This too occurred before her election to Congress.

Or Shiela Jackson Lee for her introduction of a blatantly Unconstitutional bill requiring the licensing of firearms owners. Or how about Ilihan Omar for just about everything she’s said and done?

And they’ll get ‘WHAT THEY WANT’! Unlike Republicans.
But there are too many submissive Republicans in the room, that’s why.

She can now be considered the front runner for the GOP nomination for the Georgia Senate seat in 2022.

The republicans should agree but only after first stripping that Dem congressman who thought Guam would tip over and then the entire Dem Congress and the republicans who believed-subscribed in the Russia collusion conspiracy as well as any in Congress who believe in global climate change and also those who believe your sex is not based on biology / innate in your chromosomes at conception but instead is chosen by you.

Problem is the repubs save a few are cheering them on. Erickson the blowhard cackles with glee on her being silenced.

“The republicans should agree but only after first stripping that Dem congressman who thought Guam would tip over...”

If we penalized congressmen/women for being stupid/ignorant we’d lose at least half of them—not that that would be a bad thing.

The republicans in Washington and many elsewhere are an absolute disgrace. They should all be supporting the The Trump platform that MTG unapologetically supports. Because- he constituents. Sadly, the Cheney Romney McCarthy deep staters are smothering any real Freedom caucus types.

So how does this work? Can the majority vote on removing everyone in the minority from committee assignments? After all, the resolution in question is pretty generic. What stops the tyranny of the majority from repeated purges whenever a member of the minority steps out of line? Answer: nothing.
117TH CONGRESS 1ST SESSION
H. RES. 72

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Leftists Move to Alinsky Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene For Thought Crimes Against Totalitarian State Interests

Posted on  by Sundance

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) has been under a blistering assault from leftist politicians and members of the republican wing of the UniParty vulture.

The current approach is an attempt to “Alinsky” (Isolate, Ridicule, Marginalize) Ms Greene and vote to remove her from her committee assignments.  Her crime: thoughts against the regime and open discussions of questions she carries; this, pesky freedom of expression thing, is not to be tolerated in a totalitarian state.

There is a massive amount of hypocrisy when contrasting Rep Taylor Greene’s statements against those made by almost every democrat who was pushing the Trump-Russia conspiracy hoax for over 4 years.

WASHINGTON DC […] The House is set to vote on removing Taylor Greene from her committee assignments on Thursday.

She is a member of the Education and Labor Committee, a point of scrutiny given her past statements suggesting school shootings were staged to build the case for gun control. (more)

Below Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene joins Dinesh to address the subject of who the real kooks are in Congress.

I sincerely hope the GOP returns the favor with Ilhan Omar should they win the House back next year.
