"While Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe is generally focused on the FBI’s activities, ... the prosecution of high-ranking FBI officials, such as former Director James Comey, is “unlikely.”
"Previously, Comey has said that investigators have yet to reach out to him.
“... “I can’t imagine that I’m a target.”
"Last summer, Durham’s team also questioned former CIA Director John Brennan.... Brennan later said through a spokesman he was assured he was “not a target....”

Is anyone surprised that Durham even bothered showing up for work the last year since he knew the outcome even before he started the investigation?

Is anyone surprised? No! The Swamp protects its own. Only outsiders and low level expendables will be prosecuted.

If you're waiting for justice to be done to these criminals, you're going to be waiting a long time.
Unless you're talking Romanian term limits.....
What do you think DC being a "Green Zone" is all about?

I'd be surprised if anyone believed this story because it's based on Fox News "anonymous sources" or Comey and Clapper.
So it's like the writer washed Fox News baseless content through SaraCarter's website - maybe he realized we would doubt the content if we knew he got it from Fox?
And they quote Comey and Brennan as authoratative? Since when?

"A spokesperson for the special counsel told Fox News that they had "no comment from Mr. Durham."
SNIP
Under U.S. code, the special counsel would produce a "confidential report" and is ordered to "submit to the Attorney General a final report, and such interim reports as he deems appropriate in a form that will permit public dissemination."

He’s been ensconced as a nothing-burger > IMO, for about 8
months now.
Whatever respect I had hoped to have for him has turned to
bitter scorn.
