Education secretary nominee Miguel Cardona appears for confirmation hearing and answers questions from Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.
“If you’re confirmed, will you enforce that Office of Civil Rights opinion?” Paul wondered.
“I understand that there are a lot of concerns about that. If confirmed, it’s my responsibility and my privilege to make sure that we’re following civil rights of all students, and that includes activities that they may engage in in high school or athletics,” Cardona replied.
Paul then asked, “What do you think in general of boys running in girls’ track meets like they’ve been doing in Connecticut?” — “Do you worry about having boys run in girls’ track meets?”
“I think it’s appropriate – I think it’s the legal responsibility for schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities and this includes students who are transgender,” Cardona said.
Paul, pressed, “So you don’t have a problem then, of boys running in the girls’ track meets, swimming meets, you name it, you’re OK then with boys competing with girls?”
“Respectfully, senator, I believe I answered the question,” Cardona scoffed.
“I think the fact that you seem to be afraid to answer the question, or you basically do answer the question by saying it’s OK without saying it’s OK, really is a statement to real problem we have and a disconnect between middle America and what most Americans actually believe,” Paul said.
“Who are these people that think it’s okay? From what planet are you from?”

Omygosh. I wonder how many FReepers are going to say it.
“Who are these people that think it’s okay?”
People without daughters
Way to go Rand.
Keep pushing.
Females support freaks and homos way more than men.
Time to reap it.

Does this guy speak any English?
The same planet where Senators certify fraudulent votes.

Hey cardong..I identify as the King of the USA. You’re fired.

Exactly right!
Most of these idiot millennial chicks love to brag about how many gay and transgender friends they have. Well ladies, you asked for it...you got it! Now do us a favor and just STFU!
Wait until these policies go into effect and those who voted for these idiots suffer the consequences. First question they will ask, how can they do this? Who is responsible for this?
Can easily be solved if people refused to compete in competitions that allowed transgenders, particularly males competing as females. I know that scholarships are involved but the beast must be killed. As long as we go along with it, the farce continues.
How about those that identify as trans species? Would those that identify as dogs be allowed to enter an American kennel club event?
The answer is obvious. Uranus.

Here’s the exchange. This article didn’t include a lot of it.

Almost everybody in government forgets how to speak English after a short while. They quickly learn to utter that mealy-mouthed, equivocating, balderdash that all politicians speak. That’s why Trump was such a breath of fresh air.
If Trump doesn’t run in ‘24, I think I might support Rand Paul.
Have you noticed that no girls to boy transgenders compete directly in boys sports? They know they can’t win.
A friend of mine is a big leftist, but he has a granddaughter who runs track. Can’t wait to ask him about it.
