Education secretary nominee Miguel Cardona appears for confirmation hearing and answers questions from Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.
“If you’re confirmed, will you enforce that Office of Civil Rights opinion?” Paul wondered.
“I understand that there are a lot of concerns about that. If confirmed, it’s my responsibility and my privilege to make sure that we’re following civil rights of all students, and that includes activities that they may engage in in high school or athletics,” Cardona replied.
Paul then asked, “What do you think in general of boys running in girls’ track meets like they’ve been doing in Connecticut?” — “Do you worry about having boys run in girls’ track meets?”
“I think it’s appropriate – I think it’s the legal responsibility for schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities and this includes students who are transgender,” Cardona said.
Paul, pressed, “So you don’t have a problem then, of boys running in the girls’ track meets, swimming meets, you name it, you’re OK then with boys competing with girls?”
“Respectfully, senator, I believe I answered the question,” Cardona scoffed.
“I think the fact that you seem to be afraid to answer the question, or you basically do answer the question by saying it’s OK without saying it’s OK, really is a statement to real problem we have and a disconnect between middle America and what most Americans actually believe,” Paul said.
“Who are these people that think it’s okay? From what planet are you from?”

We are their voice. But we were called deplorables, fascists, NAZIs and racists by those who claim they won the election.
More women support the left. The left will destroy women.
Good!
When the majority of female athletic scholarships go to transgendered boys, maybe something will change.
Until then, I will enjoy the show and encourage men to compete in women’s sports, break every record and win every scholarship.
There are women’s league Rugby teams - are you ok with biological females getting broken bones when competing against biological males?
Coercion, intimidation, indoctrination = Fear
“The answer is obvious. Uranus.”
That’s what you call a lay-up.
Let ALL their sick twisted rules come into play.
Then, they can reap the rewards.
Scorn and ultimately Oblivion.
This is the insanity we are up against:
I told a guy on a sports message board that men are generally stronger and faster than women. This was with regard to the girl kicker for Vanderbilt’s football team. His response was that she could probably kick better than I can. Now, just think about stupid/insane/illogical that response is. I asked if the bar for being a kicker in the SEC was to be able to outkick somebody your father’s age who has never been a football kicker or even played soccer. Response: “So you admit she’s a better athlete than you, but you still can’t celebrate her achievement?”
Lots of women have had their minds poisoned by our absurd culture; there are also a lot of men who think they can win the approval of those women if they just white knight hard enough. It is simply not fair for biological men to compete with women in sports. That’s why you never see biological women (a/k/a “women”) competing in the men’s division. It’s always one way.
All that said, women’s sports have lots of SJW’s. They reap what they sow.
"Polls show the transgender ideology is deeply unpopular, especially among women and parents. In 2017, former President Barack Obama told NPR that his promotion of the transgender ideology made it easier for Donald Trump to win the presidency."
There's a scenario -- if Xiden gets us into a protracted war with ground troops in either Syria, Iran, Taiwan, name it -- where Rand would rise to the top.
Although this scenario first favors Trump, who under the aforementioned wartime scenario, one could see easily naming Paul as his VP candidate for 2024.
Democrats always overreach, but the one scenario where their overreach could actually defeat their ballot fraud, would be if they rely on the formerly unassailable 'wartime president' status for Xiden's re-election.
If US troops are anywhere in the world in a hot war in 2024, Xiden or Karamela are finished. Which is a more likely scenario than anyone on FR can possibly imagine...
It’ll come to you.
I’m actually related to Jim Thorpe,,,fwiw
“I remember when Rhonda Rousey was “unbeatable”. Many were trying to say she could beat a man. A pro fighter of the same size could kill her...easy.”
Holly Holm completely took her apart by pretty much just moving laterally and throwing straight lefts which Rhonda cleverly blocked with her face. A male fighter from even a few weight classes lighter would have done the same. Even a much smaller fighter with any skills could have knocked either of them out.
When I was in high school (a long time ago), I held every Women’s World Record, not only in my best events but even in my mediocre ones and that was when the East Germans were blatantly cheating and competing with women taking male hormones. It isn’t even close. A decent boys U17 soccer team would beat the US Women’s National team 9 times out of 10 and the 10th time would be lucky.
Rhonda looked sloppy as Hell. When I saw her lunge and then fall to a knee, I knew she was done. I couldn’t believe I heard guys I know think she could beat a male. They lost huge man card points.
President Thomas Jefferson, in a State of the Union address, also Justice Joseph Story, had both indicated that the states would first need to appropriately amendment the Constitution to give the feds the express power to stick their big noses (my wording) into INTRAstate schooling before the feds could do so, something that the states have never done.
"On a few articles of more general and necessary use, the suppression in due season will doubtless be right, but the great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphases added].”—Thomas Jefferson : Sixth Annual Message to Congress
"The power to regulate manufactures, not having been confided to congress, they have no more right to act upon it, than they have to interfere with the systems of education, the poor laws, or the road laws, of the states [emphases added]. Congress is empowered to lay taxes for revenue, it is true; but there is no power to encourage, protect, or meddle with manufactures." —Joseph Story, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1, Commentaries on the Constitution 2
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Another significant constitutional problem with the constitutionally indefensible, pro-LGBT policy for athletes by misguided elite Democrats is this. The only sex-related right that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the feds to deal with sex discrimination is limited to voting rights issues, evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
"19th Amendment:The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation [emphasis added]."
Since I’ve already given away today’s prize for violating Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to Sen. Cory Booker for a related intrastate issue, this other lawless Democrat that Sen. Rand is questioning will have to wait until tomorrow to receive that prize.
Section 3 requires elite Democrats to lose their offices for rebelling against the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers by making laws and policies based on constitutionally nonexistent federal government powers.
"14th Amendment, Section 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same [emphasis added], or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
Well, *he* is for males and *she* is for females.
What’s wrong with the third option we have of *it*?
Not too far off the truth. Gheys hate trannies and women, in that order. Gheys form an absurdly over-represented group in actual Federal policy-making that gets passed. For those Federal f@gs, what better way than to play one off against the other than pit trannies vs women.
That thought occurs to me when I view women's fashions, particularly bathing suits which expose pretty much everything. The people who design those most definitely have a very low opinion of women. Unfortunately, women have lost all their self-respect and buy that stuff up.
Reptilian aliens have occupied the Swamp.
That is why they wear those big masks all the time!
