ASHINGTON (AP) — House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy faced unrest Tuesday from opposing ends of the Republican spectrum over Reps. Liz Cheney and Marjorie Taylor Greene, underscoring GOP fissures as the party seeks its pathway without Donald Trump in the White House.
Hard-right lawmakers were itching to oust Cheney, a traditional conservative and daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, from her post as the No. 3 House Republican after she voted to impeach Trump last month. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell praised Cheney and aligned himself with party moderates trying to isolate or punish Greene, a first-term congresswoman gaining renown for embracing outlandish fictions like suggestions that mass school shootings were staged.
The looming decisions on Cheney, R-Wyo., and Greene, R-Ga., represent a moment of reckoning for a party struggling with its future. Two weeks after Trump left office, House Republicans are effectively deciding whether to prioritize the former president’s norm-shattering behavior and conspiracy theories and retain the loyalty of his voters over more establishment conservative values.

He go on Cheney’s side.....he could take a lesson from Greene.....she’s a woman with more nads than almost all the Republican, ahem, men on Crapitol Hill....

Hate to use up a lot of bandwidth but what if we started to list all the reliable and trusted conservatives who are not RINO’s, not Mitt types, not two-faced, and not ready to dump on anyone like Trump.

If the Dems made a list for their side it would be hundreds long (with mayors and governors after the House and Senate and TV media and academia).
Lets see if you hold the line the next time the pukes say how important it is to win back the house or the Senate. I say the Rats should hold both houses unless and until there is an actual opposition. If anti Trump politicians are going to hold office id much rather they were thr Rats.

The people of GA love Greene, the people of Wyoming loath Cheney. Choose well Kevin.

The GOP establishment likes to get rid of outspoken conservatives. They got rid of Steve King (Iowa) a couple of years ago. Now they’re targeting Marjorie Taylor Green for similar reasons. They won’t be able to primary her so they’ll have to do it by other means.
Democrats don’t have this problem. They rally behind all of their members no matter what they say or do.

You are making it sound like the people’s opinions of both states really matter, well they don’t. If our elected leaders really cared what their own voters really cared about, there would not have been that massive back stabbing operation on Jan 6th.
To keep the Deep State happy, he must choose Cheney and tell the good people of Wyoming where to go.
