Somehow, most the media forgot to mention that. In their defense, Washington, D.C. looks like occupied Sarajevo, a small city overflowing with soldiers. The troops came last month, tens of thousands of them. We were told they were going to protect the capital from the inevitable right-wing violence that would accompany Joe Biden's inauguration.
Then Joe Biden was inaugurated and there wasn't any violence. Donald Trump didn't chain himself to the North Portico. Trump voters didn't rush the stage. The Trump restoration never happened. And yet the troops stayed. As of Jan. 28, National Guard troops from 23 states were stationed in Washington. That number seems to have risen over the past few days. We called the National Guard Monday to find out by how much, but they either couldn't or wouldn't give us numbers, citing "operational security reasons." A spokesman added, "we will not get into specific details of the ongoing mission."

So, there are soldiers in our capital, but we don't have a right to know why. Got it. Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker was not so shy about the purpose. In a statement announcing the deployment of more soldiers to Washington, D.C., Pritzker explained that "we must root out the dark forces of racism, white [sic] supremacy and disinformation that have created this moment."
Let that sink in. The military has been deployed to Washington, D.C. to fight disinformation.

How about just trusting that the military works for the Constitution probably the only institution besides the 45 prez admin, in government who does/did While all are supposed to.
When I used to ask a particular Person close to me what was Going on operationally in relation to current events I would get a change of subject.
I had a want to know the desire of which led me to believe I had a need to know but I did not.
Because the secrecy is itself part of the mission.

The coverage of Greene is a lie...and not even because it is false. It is because they take issue with her, but not Omar, Cortez, Pressley, etc. who are every bit as nutty if not more so as the worst reporting of Greene. It’s a flat out lie of narrative. Nope. Not bunk and not bull. I am a war vet married to a combat vet, retiree. Officers both. I know when people talk about the military whether they know about the military or not. I’ve been reading here past weeks what tucker goes on about re the military. He should be quiet and if not he should. have a friendly chat with a field grade offficer. But he hasn’t done so. He doesn’t know anything about what he’s saying.
He could read some of the many well written accounts of battle and warfare. Start with classics.
But no. It’s all about the great fox push.

Nope. I have no opinion about this thing. What I do have is knowledge about how the military works and I can tell from the opinions here that people do not know how the military works. There are opinions based on assumptions.
