Joe Biden is considering revoking President Trump’s access to intelligence briefings, according to his press secretary, after a reporter cited Democrats’ concern that Trump could ‘misuse’ or ‘leverage it to enrich himself’.
All former Presidents usually retain access to intelligence briefings, yet press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that Biden’s national security team is ‘reviewing’ Trump’s clearance on the matter.

Speaking of which, Psaki noted in the same conference Monday that the Biden administration is eager to work with social media overlords to crack down on ‘hate speech’.
The topic was stoked after a reporter asked Psaki if Trump’s removal from social media platforms has helped make COVID relief negotiations easier:

Well, when criminals have been allowed to run amuck they encourage more to be criminals too.
That’s why the ordinary citizens whose lives, persons or property are being threatened (yes, property, in the past I’ve had Left wing twits saying we shouldn’t defend property, that the lives of the rioters matter more than stuff ... still shoot them anyway) should shoot rioters and looters on sight.

Why does he need access? He’s not the President anymore, sadly.
There’s absolutely no reason either of the Clinton’s or Soetero should have them. Hell, except for Bill Clinton the other two should have never got them in the first place. They’re not making decisions. They have no. Need to Know other than making money off the info.
Just as, there’s absolutely no reason for ANY of them to maintain any type of clearance when they leave office. I’d go so far that NONE of them can keep or reapply for a clearance for at least 10 years after leaving their positions. All they’re doing is selling access and influence.
I’d make one exception, though. If you retire from the military, were not a flag officer and can prove that your need for the clearance is to work in R&D and you’re actually in a lab, working, then you can maintain it.
Other than that, suck it.
