Trump might knife the GOP with his lunatic impeachment defense

Even as a mere Florida man, former President Donald Trump sure looks as if he's trying to knife the Republican Party.

On Saturday morning, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the House's resident anti-Semitic QAnon conspiracy theorist, boasted that she had shared a call with the supportive former president. By evening, news emerged that Trump's legal team had resigned barely 48 hours before his first response to the article of impeachment is due and a little more than a week before the Senate trial begins. The reason: Trump wants to present the one defense that would render it political suicide to acquit him.

Trump could argue that despite inviting his fans to Washington, D.C., during a pandemic and telling them he would lead them to the Capitol to "stop the steal," his aside that they ought to do so "peacefully and patriotically" shows he was not trying to incite violence. As a matter of process, he could also argue that the trial itself is illegitimate because he is now out of office — a position that 45 out of 50 Republican senators agree on. Either of these arguments might be weak, but both are at least something.

But no. Instead, to defend himself from the charge that he incited an insurrection at the Capitol, Trump reportedly wants to claim the election really was stolen from him. As one may notice, this is not a defense against incitement but rather a justification for it.

The Republican Party has carefully avoided defending Trump on the merits of his actions — even Trump's most loyal supporters. Sen. Rand Paul did him a big favor by forcing a vote on the constitutionality of a post-presidential impeachment trial. That has essentially locked 45 senators into acquittal on constitutional grounds.

It's interesting to see how the entire fake-news MSM, all Democrat politicians, and Big Tech/social media censorship companies are constantly describing Republicans ... such as the aforementioned description, "House's resident anti-Semitic QAnon conspiracy theorist."

Trump and his voters want an investigation into voter fraud to determine the truth. Everyone else doesn’t, prefering to accept without question what the media has told them. Given the chain of unfounded attacks against him during his tenure that all trace back to the Democrats why is it so difficult to conceive that voter fraud was used? And that doesn’t even consider all of the evidence uncovered so far.

There is the election fraud that the Senate confirmed Harris which required a Natural Born Citizen status. The definition includes the observance of Senate Resolution 511 (2007) stating McCain was a Natural Born Citizen because he was ‘born of American citizen parents on a US Military base’.

Harris is an unnatural born citizen of parents of differing foreign jurisdictions who were subject thereto evidenced by their passports to visit here. Therefore she cannot serve as President or Vice President. Therefore the election results are a fraud.

Remember, the GOPe have always played along with being the boogeymen of Liberal popular culture. They graciously take their barbs from the media, Hollywood, academia. Their only power has been to convince Republican voters to stick with them because they’re the lesser of two evils, and because swing voters supposedly don’t like the true Conservatives that we love, like Sarah Palin and Trump.

They need to be kicked in the teeth and then dumped in a river. I’d rather the Democrats control everything, and inspire the people to rise up against them, than deal with the WWF fake fighting of the GOPe.

To be quite honest, I’m not sure how anyone can look at the available evidences and *not* think the election was 100% stolen.

If we observed an election in a third world country that had the same pattern of irregularities as ours did, the State Department would be demanding that the results be thrown out and the election reran under tight supervision.

First and foremost, how exactly did he incite the crowd to attack the capital building. Which words did he use that led to the attack. Since the FBI is saying the attack was pre-planned, what part of the planning did Trump do?

Calling for a political rally, and telling people to peacefully have their voices heard cannot be a crime unless the country is no longer a Republic. In a Fascist or Communist state, crime is what the government says it is, but not in a Republic.

I want to see evidence that Trump broke the law, that he called people to attack, or helped organize such an attack. If they don’t have that, it’s all non-sense.

By the way, Anybody has a right to believe this election was stolen. If we started destroying peoples lives who believe elections were stolen, we would have to lock up all the Democrats who cried over Hillary. The Democrats say it was a clean election, but they won’t have a judge hear the evidence, they won’t look at the statistics, and they won’t address the problems of fake ballots and impossible registered voter turnout. Not to mention the voting machines were connected to the internet in the majority of the states during the election. Finally, they have installed fences and protection, WALLS, to protect themselves from an enraged public.

If I were Trump, and I am not, I would hope that they impeach me so no one could expect me to run again and try to salvage a Republic that is already dead. I would just tell people the truth, let the Senate vote to prevent me from every running for office again, take care of my family. He did his part, he tried to show us how the sausage was made and how dirty it was, and he tried to salvage the Constitution and the Republic. He couldn’t do it because the government is no longer “for the people, by the people” it exists to steal your money and get pensions.

Trump’s presidency was subverted because he called out Hillary for the criminal she was. He was impeached the first time for demonstrating the Joe Biden was threatening other countries for aid unless they dropped prosecution on the company paying his son. He was impeached the second time because he stated that the voting system was rigged, which it is in my opinion.

The uniparty calls him a traitor, I see him as a Patriot who did what he thought was right for the people of the United States. The election steal destroyed the Republic, it won’t come back. We are now full on a fascist state, walking in the footsteps of 1930’s Germany, with likely a drug dependent demented person at the helm (like Hitler on Meth for Parkinson’s).

Maybe Trump is picking a strategy that doesn’t involve defense, because he doesn’t care about running again.
