I agree. Most masks have 2 layers already. It’s hard to purchase those with only 1 (I’ve managed to).

Nope, but if I did, the cheesecloth mask wouldn’t be a problem. I can generally plan things to avoid having to run a lot.

One of our younger Gene pool gals will become an RN later this spring.

She has been a dance instructor since she was a teen.

Since then she has been on the high school and college dance teams. In high school, she could play a whole soccer game without a problem.

She loves to hike and is a hunter. She is all ways in great shape. She is working pm shifts at an ICU connected with her nursing program.

She can’t wear the standard N95’s. I offered her my supply, and she said that she comes close to passing out when things get hectic at the ICU and wearing a N95, so no thank you.

"What about 1 t-shirt and 1 bra? Would that be okay?"

Actually, one bra by itself will give you two masks.

Well, goodie for you!

Some people travel hundreds a day a year by train and/or airplane, and understand that even the best planning can be for naught - through no fault of their own.

Connecting flights can get cancelled, trains re-routed - once, a pullman in which I had reserved seats for me and my entire family simply failed to show (cars 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15 were there - only car 14 was, mysteriously, missing).

In many such cases, you have to be prepared to hustle.

Well, of course. Her Popmposity’s infinite compassion is limited; It is strictly forbidden for the filthy commoners to succeed.

I’ll manage. Not sure why you seem determined to pick a quarrel, but whatever makes you feel good.

Sorry if I was curt to you.

But a statement like, "I can generally plan things to avoid having to run a lot" sounds like a passive-aggressive tactic.

LOTS of people have to - through no fault of their own - frequently RUN to catch a connection. In the RAIN. Burdened with a squalling brat and 50 lbs of luggage.

Your statement is about as helpful as that of those people who, in a discussion about TSA indignities, smugly reply, "Well, I haven't flown in 50 years!"

It's not helpful.

Comparable to "What? 'No bread?' Well, I don't see the problem... Let them eat cake!"

Regards,

It was a simple observation, applicable to myself. I’m not interested in whether other people have to run through the rain with various burdens, and I’m not the one who felt the need to bring it up. I don’t care at all whether you think my comments are “helpful”, and you can save the “passive-aggressive” psychobabble for somebody who might be impressed by it.

Saw he said the opposite on a Headline that popped up on my iPhone.

Of course, he has been changing his tune for a year.

If for some reason I have to use public transportation I will be wearing my brand new special mask. It is made of a substance so thin and light you can hardly even see it. It is just like wearing nothing at all.

Only the TRULY virtuous and woke can see my mask.
