Why Republicans Need to Denounce Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: She Needs to Disavow QAnon, anti-Semitism, and her Facebook support for political violence
PJ Media ^ | 02/01/2021 | Tyler O' Neill

In recent days, Democrats have launched a full-court press against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), the Republican who filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on his second day in office. At least 50 House Democrats have called for Greene’s expulsion from Congress. As legacy media outlets highlight Greene’s previous statements on social media, Republicans have hesitated to condemn her, even as some conservative groups have broken their silence.

Conservatives and Republicans need to condemn Greene’s previous statements on social media and demand an explanation for them. Until Greene unequivocally rejects the insane and dangerous things she has written and promoted on Facebook, she will give conservatives and Republicans a bad name.

While “canceling” people for old social media posts is distasteful, it seems Greene consciously built a following of crazies and worse in order to further her political career. As legacy media outlets have noted, she supported the QAnon conspiracy theory, but she went further than that, as well.

In 2018, Greene crafted a conspiracy theory about Jewish space lasers. As PJ Media’s Stephen Green noted on Friday, she never actually wrote the phrase “Jewish space lasers,” but what she did write was “so paranoid and convoluted that ‘Jewish space lasers’ actually sounds slightly less crazy.”

Hold on to your hats — your tinfoil hats, that is. Greene claimed that Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), working with the Rothschilds, used a space laser to clear room for a high-speed rail project, and that that space laser caused the 2018 Camp Fire, which burned more than 150,000 fires and killed 85 people. Over in reality, the fire actually traced back to electrical wiring belonging to PG&E.

Yes, she spread that conspiracy theory.

Sorry, you are going to have to summarize the points you are trying to make in your post... I don't have an hour to listen to the video and I am not sure which parts of the Wikipedia entry about Catherine Austin Fitts are relevant to the discussion.

Heck no.
Let the Dems denounce Dementia Joe for all the rapes he carried out over the past 40 years, including accusations with proof from Dem operatives he raped.
And why don't we look at all the far left Islamic fanaticism garbage and rabid anti semitism on Twitter from Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and AOC over the past 4 years.
Have the Dems called for them to be dismissed from the congress yet?

But why must conservatives be the ones canceling other conservatives?

Because they're Uniparty, not conservatives.

That list is from quite some time ago. A good number of those individuals are no longer in office.

Besides, EVERY Demonrat member of the present Congress supported the Stalinazi Satanic coup d’état against President Trump. They should all be expelled and hanged for treason.

"How about letting the voters decide?"

Sure.. Democracy, that's what we need.. Only problem with that is the democrats have stolen the voting booth.!

It'll be a cold day in Miami before the Republicans ever win another important, need to win election...

Anyone that sends the traitors in Congress into epileptic seizures as she does is a gem. Worth more than her weight in gold.

The Wikipedia entry about Catherine Austin Fitts is to let you know that she's a serious player, and not some whackjob.

She's mixed it up with the Derp State before.

Her point in the video is that the riots happened in what are called "opportunity zones" in the big cities, specifically, in cities with branches of the Federal Reserve.

This was for the purpose of clearing businesses off the land, making way for investment by very rich investors who will use the investments to shield their capital gains from taxation.

I get that.

But this is a Republican politician who, at one time, was elected by the voters in her district. I see two scenarios:

1) Let the voters in her district decide next time if they want to return her to office.
2) Throw up our hands and say, “It’s all rigged, she’s going to be replaced by a Democrat”.

But the article is talking about a third option — and I reject that third option. The article is saying, “The Republicans should destroy other Republicans because the Democrats want it that way.”

The rigging of the elections is a separate matter. Destroying her outside of an election cycle is stupid.

Not so fast, fool. The idea behind claiming she said Jewish space lasers was to paint her as anti-Semitic. As crazy as her idea might have been, it wasn’t that.

Here is some of Greene's response:

“I was just one of those people, just like millions of other Americans, that just started looking at other information,” she said. “And so, yeah, there was a time there for a while that I had read about Q, posted about it, talked about it, which is some of these videos you’ve seen come out. But once I started finding misinformation, I decided that I would choose another path.”

On her public flirtation with 9/11 conspiracy theories, Greene once explained, “Some people claimed a missile hit the Pentagon. I now know that is not correct. The problem is our government lies to us so much to protect the Deep State, it’s hard sometimes to know what is real and what is not.”

The scheme is strikingly similar to the point of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Fecesbook post.

“How about letting the voters decide? Why does her political party need to destroy her? The Democrat Party is full of insane people, and that party is fine with them. They don’t destroy their own people. But we do.

I strongly disagree with idea that this woman should be denounced. I see this as yet another example for why the GOP is a dead party. They mostly care about being “respectable” at wine and cheese parties. Supporting politicians who are popular with their voters? [shrug] Who cares about that????”

LET ME REPEAT THAT!

I’d keep her over a Murkowski, a Collins, a Sasse, a Romney, a McConnell, a Graham, a Rottenburger, a Kemp, a Cheney, a Pence, a Burr, and NOW even a Cruz! (I’m sure I forgot some)
