Nancy Sinatra, daughter of the late singer Frank Sinatra, says she will “never forgive” the people who voted for former President Donald Trump and hopes the anger “doesn’t kill me.”

“I couldn’t believe that this great nation had sunk so low,” Sinatra said of Trump’s 2016 victory in an interview with The Guardian.

“I’ll never forgive the people that voted for him, ever,” she added. “I have an angry place inside of me now. I hope it doesn’t kill me.”

I am a huge (Frank) Sinatra fan. Several years ago, I registered at the Sinatra Family Forum. While it is a great resource for news and info about Sinatra’s music movies, recordings, CD and movie releases, I left after a short time because of the extreme left-wing bias of Nancy and most of the posters. It probably galls the hell out them to know that Sinatra supported Reagan.

The three Sinatra children (one now deceased-—Frank,Jr.) were furious that their father was a close friend of Spiro T. Agnew (often at dinner and relaxing in the pool) and the great President Reagan. Nancy used to phone Frank and confide in him. The closeness to the GOP friends made Nancy and Tina Furious.
I have a CD of Frank on stage hilariously insulting Jimmy Carter and the rest for about twenty minutes.

Frank Sinatra started out on the left. One of his earliest hits was The House I Live In, co-written by Comrade Earl Robinson, who was as red as a tail light--and I don't mean "red" as in "red state." He later supported the Kennedys with whom he palled around. But by 1980, he was on Ronald Reagan's team, and the only time I ever saw him in person was at a Reagan rally.
