My wife and I will get our first Pfizer shot tomorrow and later on for the 2nd shot as per their package insert.
Many of our friends have had their first shot as of last week to yesterday. Sore arms/shoulders on/at the injection site on the next day or 2 with about 50% of them. Many are on the new blood thinners and had no problems besides a small bruise where the shot was given. 2 went home and to bed earlier than normal. They are doing okay now.
50-60% of the positive Covid cases are Hispanic and they make up a similar % in our ICU’s.
We have some friends with Covid, who are staying at home rather than going to the ICU or a general hospital floor.
They seem to be doing okay.
A doctor friend said that they had just sent home the last Thanksgiving Covid patients. Shortly after New Years, the Christmas and New Years Covid patients were checking in.
That small herd is being sent home. Some of the 60+ age patients are no longer around.
This doctor said that in the non Hispanic patients, the patients are on the high end of the middle class income. We know of 2 who have been safely discharged, 2 who are staying home and ??? on the last 2.
We may be seeing the positive herd impact from those getting vaccinations state wide and locally. It “ain’t” warm weather.
There is no point, except the globalist use it to herd the people into obedience. There is inexpensive medical treatment with HCQ and Ivermectin which deals with the virus quickly. The scam of the virus and the vaccines is all the push point for the great 5reset our globalist masters have now instituted. It will take a year or two but the entire planet will get the reset.

there is a Dr out there saying dont get the vaccine because your body will cause issues later. I dont remember her name but she is been making the rounds.
I didnt really read what she had to say because I am not getting those two vaccines due to short time of testing.
If I was on the front line I might get it but since I am not I am passing on it for now.
btw, I got the poor man’s version MMR II. Still have ringing in my ears. Coincidence or my body doing what it would do if it had measles or mumps...I dont know.
But it is kind of freaking me out...i guess because now I am worried that Shingles shot will really do a number on me.

Having a vaccine doesn’t prevent you from being exposed to a virus. The vaccine is 95% effective at preventing an exposed individual from developing serious symptoms. The vaccine prevents the virus from killing you or landing you in the hospital.

Apropos of nothing, I’m old enough to remember there was a lot of excitement about mRNA as a potential vaccine technology way back in the early 90’s. The potential was immediately obvious to anyone who looked at it, but then it seemed to drop off of the radar (and only now, in the heat of this Wuhan Flu season did I bother to learn why.)
For sure Katalin Karikó should get the Nobel prize for this, just based on the current vaccines. The potential for really astonishing things is still there, and are now within reach.
The current political environment is obscuring what will be seen as a major advance in medical technology. Maybe 2020 wasn’t a complete bust after all.

Same here-while it is true that this is a rural area-the strangers we are exposed to are the snowbirds inhabiting cabins and RV parks for the Winter-many business owners are over 65-I’m one-nearly all of us have had the Wuhan virus since last March-no one hospitalized, no one dead, everybody back at work in good health in 2-4 weeks weeks-but of course that outcome isn’t as scary and doesn’t excite and terrify the Karens and pearl-clutchers like the anecdotes about the 1-2-or-a-dozen people who got the Wuhan virus just from touching the curtains, doorknob, car seat, etc of someone who had the virus/didn’t wear a mask/didn’t get the vaccine and now they are DEAD! So beware!
I swear that there are people here who get off on the narrative that the sky is falling-the only reason that might be happening is that business owners in blue cities/states are going broke because they can’t open...
