Yeah, that’s what they were saying! Gave me goosebumps when I read it. LOL We don’t hit zero or below often but it does happen.

Good that you don’t have to get out in that kind of cold this time around. That’s just brutally cold.

It’s cold enough now at 19 degrees. The Lake Hood cam was following the ice groomer as it was driven around the lake to smooth the ice. I hope the driver has a good heater in there to keep him warm.
Now the cam is set on the north terminal so we can watch a “string of pearls” as a lot of airplanes come in one after the other. There are several coming in from across the ocean and they’re starting to come in now.

Lots and lots of red eye flights leave here to connect to the start of early morning flights in Seattle. So lots are coming in to carry folks out.
