Biden takes heat over early reliance on executive action. Officials say they are 'previews' of congressional agenda.
President Biden has signed more than three dozen executive orders, actions and directives since he took office just 9 days ago â with Biden officials telling Fox News that the moves are "previews" of the agenda items the president will push in Congress as Republicans rail against the record-making flurry of orders.
Just hours after he took the oath of office last Wednesday, Biden immediately took 17 executive actionsâranging from reversing former President Trumpâs policies to restoring Obama-era programs, the coronavirus pandemic and more.
Since then, Biden has taken nearly two dozen additional actionsâ focused on environmental regulations, the climate crisis, immigration policies, racial justice, healthcare and more.

Biden, by the end of his ninth day at the White House, had signed 40 executive orders, actions, and presidential memorandum -- a record.

So the guy who has both houses of congress and all they can do is impeachment. They could be churning out a bill for his signature everyday but they are doing nothing. This whole thing is a sham. I’m totally bored with it. Trump needs to just get on with whatever he’s going to do.

They can work faster with executive orders. It would be pretty much the same group writing the orders as would be driving the bills. And, anyway, the orders have been pre-written.
They're saving Congress for something that can't be done solely by EO. In particular, I am thinking of HR 1, the voting bill to cement long-term Democratic control by nationalizing voter fraud.
Joe signed the EO’s but other staff members wrote them.
Between EO's and Nancy Pelosi's idiot statement about "We have to pass it in order to know what's in it" the American form of government is approaching bottom.

Why do we even have a congress and a senate? We have become a country run by executive orders. It’s insane.
So far the only thing they are doing is impeachment. They should already be passing amnesty for 20 million illegals and raising taxes. Two of their most important issues. That’s one reason I think this whole thing is a sham. It gets boring really quick.

I did a little checking. In this period of time in 2017, Trump had signed seven EOs, if the data I saw is correct.
Lots of Democrat hypocrisy.
Democrats voiced strong objection to President Trump’s Executive Orders and now fully support Biden’s Executive Orders.
They can’t have it both ways!
