They advocate for raw despotism because they have no idea how to respond to contrary ideas in a civilized manner. This is what exiling debate from universities does. Real debate makes these kids uncomfortable and this is their red line to judge speech freedom. You can say anything you want so long as no one hearing you feels uncomfortable.
