I went through 4 gall bladder attacks in 2 years and Fentanyl is the only thing that made the pain bearable.
Word to the wise, if you have a gall bladder attack having surgery in the ER immediately after the 1st attack is the way to go. I tried the holistic "heal the gall bladder" route and suffered 3 additional attacks. During the 4th attack my gall bladder was seriously infected, going necrotic, and near bursting and I wanted to cut it out myself.
