The World Economic Forum wants you to know that there is nothing sinister about its globalist masterplan — aka The Great Reset — for a New World Order. It says so in a promo video, released to coincide with its annual Davos summit (which is taking place online all this week).
In the video, the WEF admits that some people think that the Great Reset sounds like ‘some nefarious plan for world domination.’

They’re not evil?... Like the eager enablers of the antichrist are not responsible for their enabling? LOL, satan has done a number on humanity, convincing them he is not real, so I suppose the enablers are not really enablers, right?
The whole game is about population reduction. That’s all, folks.
All those nice people in Africa, South America and elsewhere need to get with the program, after the entire populations of Europe and North America are gone. The innovators and creators of this civilization are holding up progress. /s

Having a vision is a great thing so long as it actually is a great thing and not something like Hitler’s vision.
Having a vision that you then feel the need to inflict on the world instead of selling to the unwashed masses is not a good thing because you avoid the whole letting people kick the tires and if they like it, get enthusiastic about it, stage of the game.
People think they are evil, not because they have been too transparent, as they seem to want to say (but perhaps that doesn’t even wash in DAVOS), no, people think they are evil because of a lack of transparency and an obvious will to inflict unvetted schemes on the world’s people in a way that will deprive all of us of privacy, property, and very obviously, agency, which was evidently the first to go without it even qualifying as an afterthought.
They are not evil if they define evil. Thr evil is defined by the speaker. There will be a reckoning with the Creator.
Enslavement for the remaining. Someone has to pick the cotton and tote the bale.

I’m wondering how sincere an effort to “get everyone involved” is if a political junkie like myself only encounters this here on FreeRepublic one day before its over?

Youtube is a great thing for instructional videos. It isn’t so useful if you want audience participation.
Putting the agenda anywhere public is a step in the right direction, but its a bit like the Douglas Adams skit in Hitchhiker’s Guide of the Vogons giving notice of the planned destruction of the earth to make way for an intergalactic freeway, in a place where no earthlings will see it.
There is a question of scale here. If you plan to change everyone’s life, shouldn’t there be a process and accountability of some sort? What actually is the difference between DAVOS and collusion? Especially if there are plans afoot to turn us all into landless serfs with no privacy that are nonetheless “happy,” one must wonder in what substance abusing state, I mean, there is the nod to old hippies at the end of this video, so it is a legitimate question!
This just looks like “please don’t hate us, we aren’t evil” coming from a postmodern place where there is no such thing as “evil”
The “Stakeholder Capitalism” is nothing more than neo-feudalism. The Chinese version of Communism is more like feudalism than a communist utopia. All that changed in China, was how the feudal lords were chosen.
The “Great Rest” is just a communist revolution using friendly words, and run by the world’s wealthiest. They want to replace the world’s federal governments with an oligopoly of the wealthiest.
Probably most of these guys mean well, but there have been a lot of well meaning people who wanted to leave their stamp on history, often with forgettable results at best. There is a reason why we still remember Hammurabi, however, and that is because he was an example of good leadership because people knew what to expect due to clarity.
DAVOS otoh seems more like a Byzantine court. What happens when you have a powerful elite that is cut off from average people while being bombarded by every ingratiating power-hungry butt-kisser in the world with an agenda? Byzantium was famous for it and today Hollywood is a good illustration.
This group is unelected, yet ambitious in its goals to run all of our lives. Essentially they appear to have the power of collusion at their disposal. I think their ambitions are greater than their power, therefore, they are going to try to get everything done using the freer places, weakening those places, while unfree places will carry on and take advantage of the weakening that has taken place.
And the role of ingratiating power-hungry butt-kissers with an agenda? To tip well-meaning efforts into ill-intentioned outcomes perhaps?!
