I'd point out that the picture through the window is slightly distorted from the broken glass and it was recorded from a moving cell phone, while the pictures from the baseball game were high resolution from professional cameras.

Still, one has to ask the questions:

1. Loot at the black parts as well as the white parts of the bracelet. Look at the pattern of black and white.
2. How many people wear "similar" bracelets on their right wrist?
3. How many people wear a "similar" bracelet, and have a gun, and have gun access at the Capitol building?

I think it's a coincidence worth considering.

The one thing we know for sure is that the identity of the shooter is being hidden from the public. My first instinct is that the left is protecting it for their own purpose.

My instinct says that the Democrats are protecting the identity so as not to take the news cycle off of Trump and the impeachment trial.

If it turns out that the Hero Cop who saved Steve Scalise was the shooter, then the momentum against Trump is gone and the cop becomes the news story.

In the lower pictures, the same or similar bracelet appears to be on the right wrist of Capitol Police Officer David Bailey.

I was under the impression that someone was trying to imply that the bracelet was somehow indicative of membership in or allegiance to "BLM" < spits >.

Now, I get the feeling that someone is trying to use the similarity in appearance of the bracelets in different images to determine the identity of the shooter.

Those are two different issues, and more attention should be paid to differentiating between them.

It is the latter.

I recall people using his social media to try to link him to BLM, but not through the bracelet. Even if it is some kind of symbol, the fact that he was photographed many times wearing it means that it is a part of his wardrobe, like a watch or rings.

I mention the comparison to OJ Simpson and the size 12 Bruno Magli shoes. It can't be proven that the size 12 Bruno Magli shoeprints found in the blood at the house was worn by Simpson, but he was photographed previously wearing Bruno Magli shoes.

Then there is the question of how many people wear Bruno Magli shoes, how many of them wear size 12 shoes, and how many of them would have the occasion to be at Nicole Simpson's house?

So there is also the question of how many people wear a distinctive bracelet similar to the one shown in the pictures, how many of them have a gun, and how many of them are permitted to have a gun inside the Capitol building?

The bracelet doesn’t even match between the photo of the shooting and the other photos. In the photo of the shooting, there are more white beads on the bracelet than in the other photos.

The confirmation bias with this conspiracy theory is even fuzzier and more tangential than with the others.

It’s also likely, that the hands and weapons of two different police officers are shown in those frames (different in the frames in the upper row from those in the lower row).

In the upper row of frames showing a bracelet, there’s no extended magazine. One of the other police had an extended magazine (seen in other photos in another post many days ago: a white, balding man?).

When will David Bailey be brought to justice? Why is he being kept out of the news? If this was done to a black breacher, it would have incited riots and property damage. How is it that a Trump hater is allowed to commit a hate crime and it gets covered up?

Why is he being kept out of the news? Same reason that you’re being kept out of the news. It’s simple. You’re not a suspect and neither is he. There is no reason for you, or him, to even be on the radar.

You don’t arrest people because they wear bracelets similar to, but not the same as one in a blurry photo. If that’s the standard for a suspect in this case they’d have to detain a million people.

They are using the same personal identification methods to ID people who breached the Capitol as those who are using the bracelet to ID Bailey. I watched one of those engaged in the identification process explain what clues they used in their process. That bracelet is unique enough to verify it was Bailey, who was inside that chamber with the other Capitol Police.
