The one thing we know for sure is that the identity of the shooter is being hidden from the public. My first instinct is that the left is protecting it for their own purpose.

My instinct says that the Democrats are protecting the identity so as not to take the news cycle off of Trump and the impeachment trial.

If it turns out that the Hero Cop who saved Steve Scalise was the shooter, then the momentum against Trump is gone and the cop becomes the news story.

I saw the video of the guy shooting her and he was a White guy or so it appeared to me at the time. I think this fellow is being set up as their fall guy. Maybe he will walk but he’s not the guy I saw. That man was White.
