The stock pic of the gun in the article looks like a Yugo m92 pistol.

systematic racist, don’t you know. If only we embraced the black culture. Disdain for education, disdain for work, embraced drugs and violence, immorality. Think what a utopia this would be!

Shot all his family members. I’m sure his family values had nothing to do with it.

First off, let me say that I don’t support legal minimums on the length of rifles. But to call these “pistols” or “handguns” is silly. They are rifles with no (or a reduced) stock. This goes for the AR “pistols” with the “wrist support”. All of these are almost always shot from the shoulder when you see them operated. They are used as carbines. I understand it is our mixed up Byzantine gun laws which make it necessary to resort to these regulatory gymnastics in order retain a shred of our civil rights but it’s so bizarre. We need to eliminate the distinctions between handguns and rifles altogether when it comes to overall and barrel length.

Is this a "live by the sword, die by the sword" scenario? If you use your firearms or other weapons to create havoc on others, that havoc will normally return to you ten-fold.
This young person was obviously taught that weapons were to be used to take from others; either their property or their life, and was never taught the value of either.
Weapons should be used only to protect life and liberty. However, it should never be used to take life and liberty from others, unless you are protecting your own.

Apparently the kid went out Saturday, didn’t come home until Sunday morning. Parental units were not pleased and told him they needed to talk.
Even at 17, if I had done that, the talk would have come AFTER the ass whooping.
The kid was probably pledging to the local bangers. But that just supposition on my part at this time. Though the type of weapon used would seem to support that supposition.
