The stupid farce won’t “destroy” anybody.
It just turns the Senate into cartoon characters unfit for legitimate citizenship in civilized society.

Stupid doesn’t hardly say it my friend. Hate driven Insanity is more like it....but who’s gonna stop ‘em? They could not care less how it looks or what the American people think. Hopefully their blind hatred will be their downfall.
Headline says ‘blow up’ and the first sentence says ‘defuse’. I guess you can have it both ways.
Constitutional problems with this “Impeachment”
1) The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is not presiding
2) The Constitution does not provide for impeachment of a private citizen
3) The Articles of Impeachment identify “President” Donald Trump. In essence, no such person exists
Really? The Supreme Court? According to many reports, Roberts despises Trump. I don’t see how this can end well.

I don’t think that matters. His underlings are well aware of how they must vote. There were reports that when they were looking at the case filed by Texas, et al., there was a lot of yelling coming out of the room. Then the decree came that they wouldn’t hear it. (They should have heard it. It’s well within their “job description”.)
uh oh. The DO(not)J has started an investigation of anyone trying to overturn the results of the election. Johnson and these 11 honorable men are probably in their crosshairs.
Why the heck are they even playing along? This impeachment of a citizen is supposed to be unconstitutional or something, yet the left just plod along, and the right say, “well by golly, nothing we can do about it, so let’s make a show of trying to oppose it”?
Why aren’t the right threatening any republican who goes along with the farce with censure or expulsion for vio.ating the constitution or the law which prevents civilians fro being impeached? And threatening to sue or whatever any liberal that tries to further this farce for using their office for abuse and intimidation using means that are outside the law or whatever it is that prevents civilians from being impeached?
There has to be something that can be done to prevent this sham impeachment from happening again? Funny how the right always have to abide by the rules but the left never do

Should’ve been done last year when she ripped up the federal document, the transcript of President Trump’s state of the union address.

Anyone who spoke or made noises during the reading of the House's case would be jailed on the spot.
If every Republican went full Joe Wilson and shouted “You lie!”, the Sargent at Arms is forced to lock them all up or lose face, and have her inability to enforce her own rules shown naked to all.
No 2/3rds required for a quorum, no trial, no impeachment.
Checkmate by their own rules.
