Death threats against lawmakers have been surging since the election, but a key House Republican and ally of former President Donald Trump said that the FBI is “more interested” in checking those against Democrats.
“We're averaging several threats per day,” said Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz.
In a media call to discuss his upcoming trip to Wyoming to campaign against House GOP leader Rep. Liz Cheney, who voted to impeach Trump, Gaetz said that there has been a “substantial increase of death threats” against members.
Gaetz decried any violence but suggested that the FBI has favored investigating threats against Democrats over Republicans.

I wish everything in the gov was balanced and Trump could have gotten rid of some of the deep state. He has information today that likely makes him a huge target. He said one day he would let us know so much info. He didn’t do much before he left. I thought he may burn there play house down. But he has another plan.

I was watching an episode of Mr. Robot last night. A person was being told that they WOULD be a mole in a government agency and when the person said, no way, they started sharing with this person the private information about all their family members, right down to first cousins and their children, and then they re-iterated that this person will be their mole.
If I was told that, there would be only one way out - suicide. And I mean as an act of protecting them, not an act of “woe is me”.
But Trump has a lot of amily to think about here, and these people are as ruthless and treacherous as they come. You have to be to have power at that level and use it the way they have demonstrated they will.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that during the last year of Trump’s time in office there were a lot of pedophile rings being busted.
Illegitimacy breeds insecurity. Democrats as a result of their crimes are paranoid. They fear that justice will come to them not in the form of police and courts but by a harsh, avenging hand that is unkown to them. They are fearful and paranoid. That is why they have National guard troops saturating the Capital. Also their acolytes in big tech, the MSM and financial entities are surrounded by private security that outclasses the secret service.
I’m glad I’m not the only one using that analogy for GOPes. I’ve been intending to have that conversation with a high-level GOP official of my acquaintance, waiting for the right moment.
It’s probably the FBI making the death threats.
When Bubba reported his fake noose the FBI sent a dozen agents down there to investigate. How many agents investigated the murder of Trump supporters in Denver, Portland, Milwaukee? How many were sent to investigate the attack on Rand Paul or the attack on the Republican baseball team?
