Opinion: Biden has embraced lunatic ‘critical race theory’ - but you can still fight it
NY Post ^ | January 25, 2021 | By Max Eden

On his first day in office, President Biden rescinded the Trump administration’s executive order prohibiting critical race theory training for federal agencies and federal contractors. This is a sad reversal for Americans committed to colorblindness in public life. But while the president’s order is binding at the federal level, state legislators still have a say in the matter. They should not shrink from resisting this pernicious philosophy.

Critical race theory understands the world by viewing everything — society, economics, education, family, science — through the lens of “whiteness” and white racism. White people, according to CRT, drift in a kind of amniotic fluid of privilege and unearned gifts based on the brutal ideology of “white supremacy.”

Critical race theory includes values such as hard work, objectivity, deferred gratification, family and respect for the written word as intrinsically racist and claims that by “centering” these values American culture relentlessly suppresses black achievement while boosting white mediocrity into advancement.

CRT training sessions have become standard across academia, public education, corporate America and government. Highly paid experts in indoctrination conduct multi-day seminars explaining how racist attitudes infect even the purest intentions and why white employees are and will always be racist.

Now is the time for governors and state legislators to step up — and to remember that these ideas don’t withstand scrutiny. In a state legislative committee hearing, the argument for colorblindness will always carry the day.

State leaders will have to decide whether imparting America’s principles to the next generation is worth the price of being excoriated on social media.

Race Theory is critical. Look at the trouble Bubba Wallace had with garage door pulls.

That wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been at least 1/16th Black.

Critical race theory is racist and moronic in general. It’s perfect for Democrats.

We may need a Critical Black Racist Theory as it seems much of society is leaning towards senseless, acidic racism found in black communities.

“Critical race theory is racist and moronic in general.”

Here’s support for that, from the article:

“Critical race theory includes values such as hard work, objectivity, deferred gratification, family and respect for the written word as intrinsically racist”

Once you understand that “racism” is their code word for “capitalism” it all makes sense. They are fighting all the attributes (hard work, education, responsibility, honor) that help you succeed in a capitalist society. To succeed in a socialist society you need... nothing. Everyone gets their daily cup of rice no matter how worthless they are. (Of course, these boneheads think it will be their daily filet mignon, but anyway.)

Anyone subscribing to CRT is a dullard and racist.

This is going to be one of my “red lines.” If my employer tries forcing me to sit through one of these CRT self-hate jamborees, I will quit. I can only hope that the timing of my departure will cause maximum pain, cost, and disruption to my employer.

Maybe they’ll replace me with someone who isn’t saddled with racist values such as hard work and objectivity.

Critical Race Theory is based on the assumption of white supremacy. It implies whites are born superior to all other races and thus have an advantage over them.

To over come this advantage whites must be disadvantaged to even the playing field because other wise they will dominate and outperform the lesser races because of their superior genetics.

I'm not sure but Critical Race Theory sounds kind of racist's to me.

I think it means whites aren't superior they have only progressed due to unfair advantages. Regardless, it's racist as hell and nuts.

I think it means whites aren't superior they have only progressed due to unfair advantages.

Its implicit in their argument that whites are superior, other wise how could they set up an unfair system of oppression over others.

CRT at its most basic level assumes that white genetics are unfair because they give whites advantages that others inferior races are incapable of achieving.

Liberals are incapable of refuting this argument.

Critical Thinking is a learned skill set, where you can form a hypothesis, look for evidence for and against, and make a logical decisions about the world around you. CT is a skill that must be taught. It is not innate.

Without CT, a person makes decisions not in logic, but on emotions, which defy logic.

After investigation, nobody capable of CT would support Socialism and reject Capitalism. But remove CT and emotional people can be convinced.

Marxists set out to remove Critical Thinking from schools. So in an insidious stroke of genius, they invented Critical Theory, which sounds similar but is its polar opposite. Critical Theory teaches Capitalism is evil, and socialism is the answer. Then they modified it to Critical Race Theory, introducing “because White Man Bad” into the mix.

Our kids are no longer taught logic and reasoning skills, so they can’t distinguish between truth and lies, then are brainwashed to hate capitalism and feel guilty about their own race.

You couldn’t make this stuff up. But it happened, and is happening. When you look around at the horrible education and lack of skills in youngsters, now you know where it came from, and why.

I agree entirely. A good deal of the young I work with in the hospital I’m employed are some of the dumbest specimens of humanity I’ve ever seen.

Most especially the young men. I attribute the latter
deficiency in basic common sense and critical thinking to the public education system that has valued young women over young men.
