The criminals who injured people, defiled the Nation’s Capitol, and destroyed thousands of dollars’ worth of property should be prosecuted for their felonies. And Senators tonight should and are reconvening without delay to resume the electoral count.
President Trump doesn’t want to accept defeat, so he instead promotes delusional conspiracy theories and encourages felonies. But the Senate has a job to do. We must protect the Constitution and prepare for the new President. It’s the American way, and the American people deserve nothing less.
Does anyone know for sure if he loses his vote if he Presides?

Leahy— just neck deep in the big muddy swamp and the big schmuckie schumer says to press on. (an olde Vietnam war protest song about LBJ). Lunacy of this behaviour is because they are scared spitless about what is coming out and has come out about them.
they are in NO position, to judge our President. The military should be paying attention. The Marxists are bringing down our Republic.

January 6, 2021, will forever mark a historic day for our nation. Not simply because our beloved Capitol building — the very heart of our democracy — laid under siege. Not simply because rioters stormed the Senate and House floors, assaulting Capitol Police officers and leaving a wake of destruction along the way. Not simply because the President of the United States encouraged his supporters to commit these felonies — to march to the Capitol and “to fight,” in his words. No, today will also be remembered because of what happened before all of that. Today, over a hundred Members of the House of Representatives, and a dozen Senators, supported a ploy to deprive the states and the American people of their constitutional role to choose our next president. A ploy that amounts to nothing less than an assault on our constitutional republic.

President Trump serves no one but himself. He is not a custodian or guardian of our democracy. He is a man who’s every decision is driven by his shallow self-interest. I did not expect him to be gracious in defeat. I expected him to throw tantrums. I’m not even surprised that his rhetoric has incited violence, as it has today. That’s who President Trump is; we have all known that for some time. I am surprised and disappointed that so many members of this body have let it get this far.
Leahy was one of the senators who was targeted by the anthrax poisoner in 2001. Too bad the anthrax perp missed and Leahy survived. Leahy is now 80 years old and has been in the senate since 1975, 46 years. He learned absolutely nothing from his brush with death in 2001.
The left will keep pushing until someone stops them. They don’t care about the constitution, the law or even the country for that matter. They inly care about power.
It is clear that a judge can’t serve on the jury. So having Senator Leahy serve as a presiding judge is wrong.
Laws don’t matter anymore.
If they can steal an election and a whole country, they can do anything they want.
Who is going to stop them?
They are above the law.
They lectured us, one by one on the House floor in robotic talking points this time last year during Impeachment #1 that “no one is above the law.”
BUT THEY ARE. Are they wrong?
So where are any of the 50 republican senators protesting any of this farce?
For the same reason they didn’t want to investigate the election fraud. They are cowards.
