I keep my credit balance at zero and have no fakebook or twatter accounts, so they can bite me.

We simply won’t bother with the internet. There are so many more interesting ways to communicate, and assemble.
Let them try to stop us.
That’s great. We’ve done occasional small car payments. Always buy late model high mileage cars. (for the last five years I’ve had company cars which is pretty cool.
Our last personal car we did take out a loan. I paid 3% and earned 20% on the money in a fund. Thought that made sense.

Signal, Gap, Parler, etc. all rely on, and ultimately pay for, Tier 1 services. Those Tier 1 providers, AT&T for example, control the "internet backbone." If they wanted to, they could throttle back or even cut off completely any traffic going to Parler or Signal or anyone else no matter where they hosted.
And if your concerned about amateur hackers viewing your digital traffic, a VPN helps. However, if your concerned about the fed gov from viewing your digital traffic, there is nothing anyone can do or use to stop them from doing so.
So the bottom line is, instead of paying AT&T $1 for service, you might only be paying them 50 cents for service by using some other company or platform or product that they themselves have to ultimately pay AT&T (or others like them) for access or services.
Short of going completely off grid, in every way, there is no hiding or getting away from them.
Just some FYI so that folks don't get the wrong impression that you can completely dump "big tech" by using someone else's products/services. They've got their tentacles inextricably embedded everywhere.

The social credit score is something that Google developed at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party. It’s a method of tracking everything you do online, as well as everywhere you go, and determining whether or not you’re acting as a good little drone, or if you might cause problems.
Don’t act the way you’re supposed to, then the CCP will get involved. Lose your job, lose access to money, lose your apartment. Eventually, you’ll be visited by the PLA or the Ministry of State Security, and you’ll be joining others in the slave labor camps, or just terminated and used for human organ harvesting.
Don’t think that Obama and Harris can’t wait to get it implemented here?
