CINCINNATI — Senator Rob Portman announced Monday morning that he would not seek re-election to the U.S. Senate in 2022.
"This was not an easy decision because representing the people of Ohio has been an honor," Portman said. "But I’ve been doing this a long time, longer than I ever intended."

This seat is an easy layup for an economic nationalist.
I hope Sherrod Brown decides the same thing.
Time to start taking things back, it will be a long time in coming. But heck, we say this every election

GA election system is still broken and so is the GA GOP.
PA isn’t really a toss up it will go red if the GOP has a solid candidate the state has been trending more Republican in recent years and the population loss out of Philadelphia is making the Dems have to work extra hard to “manufacture” votes
Portman isn’t as good as some,and he isn’t as bad as others. He’s a middle of the pack kind of guy.
I doubt he’ll vote to convict. I would not be surprised to see him run for Governor. He now knows that governors do far more than senators.
When he was my congressman, he was a solid conservative. The Bush family compromised him somehow.
Getting rid of Sherrod Brown would be great if we can find another Jim Jordan.

Why should Jordan go for Portan’s seat when he could kick Sherrod Brown the hell out of the Senate instead.

Somewhere in Ohio is a congressman-Ryan-democrat. He’d be a good candidate. The way to head him off at the pass is to have our best candidate come out early.

I will drain my bank account to support this man he is the ONLY damn person I trust up there him and Nunez!!!! I would LOVE to see him in the senate!! We had a GREAT kid Madison just got elected to the house and absolutely BLEW IT on Sunday shows yesterday TOTALLY CAVED to the asshat reporter!!! Sickening!!!
