Larry King, the award-winning TV and radio host who became a household name with his long-running CNN show Larry King Live, died Saturday morning at the age of 87.
“With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host, and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” King’s official Twitter announced Saturday morning.
No cause of death was provided, but King’s death came weeks after it was revealed that the 87-year-old host was battling coronavirus.

I don’t know why people think King was so great. His interviews were shallow. It was obvious that he didn’t do any research to prepare for them.
My 6 year old could do a better job.

Larry King was 87 for as long as I can remember.
RIP. Hardly watched him, but the little that I scene he was one of the better ones. Now disgusting people like Maddow replaced him.

We will have to hear is prostate commercials for eternity.
“Great” may be stretching the description, but I think for most people, Larry was plain old easy to like, and easy to understand. He didn’t seem to be putting on airs.
Someone you may want to share a bottle of wine with.
Much of this easygoing manner, was an illusion, because Larry was a thorough reporter, and would usually follow up on certain kinds of remarks.
At the same time, he got many famous people to open up and talk to the public in a relaxed, low wattage environment.
Wow, RIP. Like Milton Berle I thought Larry King had been around forever. I would have guessed he was at least 120.
Surprised he made it that long.
He didn’t read any of the books his guests may have written because he wanted to be on the same level as his listeners. No preconceived ideas or biases when he interviewed them.
