WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — Former President Donald Trump gave nothing away about his plans for life after the White House as he dined with friends at his golf club on Friday.
“We’ll do something, but not just yet,” he told the Washington Examiner as he sat at his regular table in the Grill Room of the Trump International Golf Club. An aide to the former chief executive then swooped in and swiftly, but politely, ended the interaction.
Those marked his first words to a journalist since he left the White House on Wednesday and flew to Florida.
Minutes earlier, House Democratic leaders announced that they intended to send an article of impeachment to the Senate on Monday that would charge the former president with inciting an insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6, threatening Trump’s hopes of running for president again.
Friday marked the second consecutive day that his motorcade drove the short distance from his private club Mar-a-Lago to his golf course.
He was spotted playing a round on Thursday morning but didn't arrive until 1:20 p.m. on Friday and made straight for lunch.
He sat at his favorite table, his back to a window looking on to the rolling fairways and gurgling waterfalls of the course, and was dressed in a white golf shirt and his familiar red cap.

Carl Domino, who has been a member of the golf club since it opened in 1999, said he believed Trump’s difficult final weeks in office (disputing election results, the assault on the Capitol, and his social media ban) would be reassessed in the months ahead.
But he did not know what Trump would do next.
“He’s a very unpredictable guy,” said the financier and former Florida state lawmaker.

A weekly update on the Biden F-up’s and idiotic, counterproductive, and foreign favoring policies would be nice.
“but not just yet . . .” speaks volumes to me. But I believe we’ll all know it when “yet” comes.
Trump has just had his @ss handed to him, It is hard to win a game when the refs are crooked.
at this point he has other things to more immediately worry about than political plans.
After Senate trial.
However, when the Biden Regime was dumb enough to "diss" the National Guard at the Capitol, it would have been negligence to not troll Them by offering the Trump Hotel as an accommodation.
One thing at a time. I think he wants to survive the impeachment trial first.
>>>After Senate trial.<<<
We know that the coup was completed at Biden’s inauguration so they could move at any time, but to impeach and convict Donald Trump for the reason they are doing it is a coup on top of a coup. Not only do they want him out now, but they want to make sure he can never serve in the government again.
That, to me, would then incriminate all those that voted Yea for conviction.
Can we still purchase stock in lead?
Now might not be the time for Trump to say his future plans include vigorously backing primary challenges to every Senate RINO.
so do we frankly-2022. If we aren’t going to fight in 2022, there’s probably no point talking about fighting in 2024.
We’ll see.
I miss you terribly Mr. President Trump..love you😘 And God bless!
Now is not the time to play things close to his vest. Now is the time to be outwardly vocal about his plans and what he wants Trumplicans to do.
Why should President Trump tell his plans to anyone who hates him?
He doesn’t owe us anything; he put it all on the table and was wiped out by a cheating dealer.
But he must know that all he has to say is “Jump” and we won’t even wait to ask where. He’ll try to time it right if he’s smart, and he’s gotten a lot smarter in the last four years.
Agreed..theres no way 17 GOP senators vote to convict a guy with a 90 percent approval rating in his own party but it is the Republicans and they could screw up a 1 inch put
Wasn’t the examiner a never Trump paper?
“But he must know that all he has to say is ‘Jump’ and we won’t even wait to ask where. He’ll try to time it right if he’s smart, and he’s gotten a lot smarter in the last four years.”
Amen to that! :)
