Complete BS and CYA lie by Lancet — the “study” should have completed the peer review BEFORE publication. The Lancet, Surgisphere, and the persons involved in the decision to publish, are ALL culpable and liable.

This article seems to be highly misleading. The Lancet retracted it on Jun 4, 2020 when the ridiculous problems with and fraud by Surgisphere were exposed. I don’t see anything new in this article that wasn’t covered six months ago. The authors are somehow trying to show (and falsely, I think), that HCQ is now accepted because Biden is president. There are lots of things happening to make Biden look brilliant at the expense of Trump, but this isn’t one of them.

The title of this thread: “As Biden Became President, Medical Journal Quietly Retracted Study That Claimed Hydroxychloroquine Is Ineffective” implies Bidens’ inauguration was the catalyst for this reaction. Biden’s inauguration had nothing to do with this retraction which happened last June. Here’s the link to the retraction:
