Pelosi on whether impeachment undercuts unity: "No, I'm not worried about that"

CNN’s Manu Raju asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi if pursuing impeachment against former President Trump at the start of the new Congress would undermine efforts to create unity with colleagues from across the aisle.

“No, I’m not worried about that,” Pelosi said during her weekly news conference.

“The fact is, the President of the United States committed an act of incitement of insurrection. I don't think it's very unifying to say, oh, let's just forget it and move on. That's not how you unify," she continued.

When Pelosi said, “just because he is now gone,” she paused to say “thank God” before continuing to add, “you don't say to a president do whatever you want in the last months of your administration, you're going to get a get out of jail card free.”

Joe Biden himself is likely too weak or befuddled to reign Nancy in, but somebody is going to need to do it.
She is very destructive because she is led by the emotion of vengance, not logic, certainly not sincere camaraderie.

Ironically, it will probably take someone from The Squad to tell her face to face that she’s screwing up any possible chance to work with republicans in any constructive way.

Here is a little-known (and macabre) historical event which reminds me of Pelosi’s insane obsession with trying Trump after the man left office. According to Wikipedia:

There is no law now. The system of laws known as the Constitution and Constitutional Government they said, hell with when they certified as legitimate and legal an election they knew was rife with violations of laws that the Democrat Party had agreed to adhere to but violated at will. They being: The Republican Party, The Congress, The Supreme Court, The lower Courts. They refused to even look at the evidence because it was so convincing that a systemic fraud along with violations of law had been committed , that should they look at it, they would be compelled to take action.

A President was not Inaugurated yesterday. I thief was ensconced in the White House. Joe Biden knows that, abetted by the Republican Party, he stole the election making him forever more a thief.
