IDK, I think it may be time for this. The Dem/GOP seem to be one in the same.
The democrats know that a new party taken out of the GOP means democrats will be in the majority almost everywhere at all levels of government.
The only choice is to reform the RINOs.
You don’t understand leverage. If you tell the RINOs you’ll never leave, they won’t change ever.
I understand leverage. I also understand what will happen if democrats take over all levels of government while the GOP is trying to “leverage out” the RINOs.

I guess you didn’t notice that the Republican party allowed
this last election to be stolen, parroted the Democrat line
throughout, and refused to work with Trump at all.
It’s leaders referred to us as terrorists and trashed
Trump for inciting us.
They did only one thing we have waited 70 years to
accomplish, when they had clear majorities. Mitch did one
part of his jobs and facilitated Trumps judicial picks
through the process. Other than that bupkis.
I don’t count the tax cut. It disappears any day Biden
wants, and they had sunseted it in 2024 anyway.
I guess some people dream of a day when a good guy will come
along and fix the party.
You just had 1,461 of them. They got up each morning and

The party is dead. People are leaving it in droves.

There was a day when referencing splitting the party was
a bad idea. In case you hadn’t noticed it, we are one
part of the party, and the other part rules.
It’s already fractured so badly it can never be put back
together again, and they just proved that beyond a shadow
of a doubt.

You obviously do NOT understand leverage. Never allowing for a third party removes ALL of your leverage, as you tell your opponent there's no competitive threat. You give them ZERO incentive to move toward your position.

You mean like what ALREADY happened a few days ago?
The democrats did not take over all levels of government on January 20. It has been like this before when obama had the house and senate for two years, 2009-2010. I expect the GOP will take the house again in 2022.
If a third party shows up and splits the GOP vote, the GOP will never get back any part of the federal government and will end up losing many state and local governments as well.
If we had a parliamentary government, I would be all for a new party, but we do not.

Democrats and Republicans pretend to be against each other and argue about bullshit like the usage of gender neutral language in Congress, but both take the money from the Saudi’s and Chinese. Both are big government. Both ignore the US Constitution when it suits them.
Yes, we need a new party. The Republicans are full of McCains, McConnells, Murkowski’s and the likes. As a party, the Republicans basically only have this argument to conservative voters: vote for us because otherwise these other guys which are even worse get in power.
