A Report in the Wall Street Journal claims that President Trump is considering starting his own political party and calling it the ‘Patriot Party’.
The Journal claims that Trump has discussed the idea with aides, who leaked the details.
Trump is said to be thinking about ditching the Republican party, following what he believes is a lack of support from GOP leaders including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Reports have also claimed that members of Trump’s own cabinet, including VP Mike Pence, are choosing to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration over Trump’s scheduled military-style send off event later today at Joint Base Andrews.
In his farewell address, Trump told supporters that the “movement we started is just beginning.”
“Together with millions of hardworking patriots across this land, we built the greatest political movement in the history of our country,” he added.
Trump also said that he was proud of being the first President in decades not to start any war:

He continued “In America, we don’t insist on absolute conformity or enforce rigid orthodoxies and punitive speech codes. We just don’t do that. America is not a timid nation of tame souls who need to be sheltered and protected from those with whom we disagree. That’s not who we are. It will never be who we are.”

Why should we be the ones who should start a new party, they are the ones that suck.
Whether he does do a new party, I think he should keep having Trump rallies.
Then you leave the RINOs all alone to win the GOP Nomination.
Kick them out of the GOP instead so they never even get to the General.
What Trump should do, is put a team together, give each a territory, and their job is to go out and find one candidate to endorse in the GOP Primary, then Trump swoops in for the Rallies.
If he does that, The House can be MAGAtized by 2022.
Start in Florida, get Desantis on board. Turn Florida into a patriot party state. Get rid of Sen. Scott.
I wish he would start a competitor just like the Drudge Report. How about something like the Trump Report. I would be there every day.
Yep, DeSantis’ 2022 re-election bid should be the Dress Rehearsal, the Rats will come at him with everything, and if he survives it, he’s good to go for 2024.
Well that new party better come equipped with it’s own methods of communication. Don’t even start a new TV Network or Social Media group until it has been ‘battle tested’.
You KNOW the big guys i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google will do all they can to kill this new idea while it lies helpless in the crib. Look at what remains of Parler, and how it’s CEO has been forced to run and hide.
This is happening here and now, in what used to be a free society. Prediction: The big Social Media will keep getting away with it until they step on the wrong Democrat toes. Such a plaintiff could probably find competent lawyers to represent him without fear of defamation.
As soon as he starts it I hope everyone who voted for him will send in $1

I don’t understand how others don’t see this.
Giving people three choices when two suck, and are popular, will make things worse.
I do understand the less evil is still evil discussion.
I am unsure which is the proper way to proceed.
Maybe people wake up if we hastily advance into a bad predicament?

I was really surprised to hear Rush Limbaugh suggest it might be time fora third party in his radio show today. Where do I sign up? I can commit most of my immediate and extended family.

As much as I detest what the Democrats did, our people aided
them. They are the ones I’m most bent out of shape at.
From 2016 on we had people acting as agents for the Left.
That infuriates me.
After Trump had served two years and shown what he was up to,
they STILL didn’t come to his defense or aid.
I loathe these people. The Rove wing of the party did their
best to help the Democrats.
