President Biden’s personal touches in the Oval Office include replacing a portrait of Andrew Jackson and adding a bust of labor icon Cesar Chavez behind the Resolute Desk, according to The Washington Post.
The new layout includes busts of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy on either side of the fireplace as well as the Chavez bust.

About 15 years ago, I had to do a paper and presentation about him.
I researched it thoroughly, looking for the warts and the good stuff. He was the real deal. He wanted only a fair shake for field workers - something many of them were not getting.
You are also correct about him having no time for illegal aliens. He ratted them ‘em out to the Border Patrol on a number of occasions.

Exactly. Cesar was born in Yuma AZ. He had no accent unless it was needed. He is on video challenging ‘wetback’ illegal immigration when he campaigned for union recognition in Bakersfield, Barstow, El Centro etc. It is really simple: How can you get a minimum wage and decent working conditions when there is no border? Simple supply and demand equation when the supply is unlimited.
