Drugs, free stimulus checks, free debt cancelations, free universal income , free get out of prison pass,, free bail, free education, free free free. Dems can’t win any other way than either to cheat or buy votes with other peoples money, or flooding the country with illegal voters or all of the above.

Marijuana edibles could be sold, too, which pulmonologist Dr. Jim Avery says attracts teens

Whereas teens have no interest in smoked marijuana? LMAO!

And anyway, selling to teens would remain illegal - as is the case with alcohol and tobacco, whose sellers more often refuse to sell to minors than sellers of illegal drugs.

and could result in addiction. Edibles are more addictive than smoked marijuana? Sounds fishy.

This is not standard Democrat playbook strategy. Legislators are not supposed to actually vote this stuff in. I thought marijuana usage was supposed to be settled as ballot initiatives. That way the lefties would flock to the polls when the Democrats needed an extra last minute push.

That is also why marijuana initiatives are done in small increments. The Democrats do not want to get open recreational usage in place so there is no longer a need for further ballot initiatives.

The prohibition of cannabis in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,

With this logic, they could say,
The prohibition of murder in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,
The prohibition of assault in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,
The prohibition of rape in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,
The prohibition of theft in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,
The prohibition of driving drunk in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,
The prohibition of hit and runs in the commonwealth and in our country has failed,

Legal in my state since January 1st and my neighbor keeps smoking while he works from home. Nothing I can do about it, anymore than he can stop me lighting up my cigars.

We’ve come a long way since Nancy Reagan lecturing us wee kiddies about the evils of marijuana. This is one area where I agree with most Dems (other being capital punishment).

In Washington State you can’t drive down the street without your vehicle being filled with the skunk like odor of marijuana smoke from drivers ahead of you. In the evening when you sit outside on a warm summer evening, the skunk like odor of marijuana forces you back inside. Go for it Virginia!

Drugs, Gambling, cigs, booze, etc. If it can be taxed, it will be legalized eventually.

And once a state gets on the tax train, it can’t get off, it can only raise existing taxes and add more new ones.

Just legalize it nationwide, tax it, regulate it (much like booze) and be done with it. You don’t like it, don’t smoke it, you don’t like booze, don’t drink it but stop this pointless bickering
