Nachman Ash — Israel’s equivalent of Dr. Anthony Fauci — said the protection offered by the first dose is “less effective than we had thought,” Army Radio reported.
“Many people have been infected between the first and second injections of the vaccine,” Ash said, adding that the protective effect appears “lower than [the data] presented by Pfizer.”
The pharmaceutical giant has claimed that trials show it is roughly 52 percent effective around 12 days after receiving the first shot, the BBC reported.

Israel’s Fauci????????
Israel has a national fool also?
My Lord, they are cloning, it's like a horror show.
LOL
LOL
The Pfizer vaccine must be kept extremely cold. Is there any way for those who administer the vaccine to know if it was inactivated by heat?
What an insult to this accomplished man to smear him as a “Fauci.”
I’ve had both shots of the Pfizer. NO ONE HAS TOLD ME that I’d have some immunity from the first shot, in fact,
I’m told it will be 2 to 4 weeks before I have maximum immunity following the second shot.
I think it might be longer than that.
Doubtful. I bet he didn't provide $3.7 million in funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Very depressing.
You have no immunity from either shot. You have to contract the virus and then and only then do you start to build immunity.
You are supposed to have a milder form of the disease, not immunity to it.

I’ve been telling people that and they get this puzzled look on their face. Everyone thinks the vaccine will keep them from getting it!
That is what everyone was led to believe.
It is a therapeutic, NOT a vaccine.
52%? Isn’t that the same as the Chinese made vaccine?
Maybe its the same thing just repackaged.
Anyone bother to tell you about Antibody Dependent Enhancement risks?
Curious.
The “vaccine” may be great, but I’d like to see a little more study surrounding antibody dependent enhancement.
Bet you get a lot of blank stares talking about the difference in therapeutics and vaccines.
The CDC page describes Messenger RNA Vaccines (mRNA) thusly:
mRNA vaccines are a new type of vaccine to protect against infectious diseases. To trigger an immune response, many vaccines put a weakened or inactivated germ into our bodies. Not mRNA vaccines. Instead, they teach our cells how to make a protein—or even just a piece of a protein—that triggers an immune response inside our bodies. That immune response, which produces antibodies, is what protects us from getting infected if the real virus enters our bodies.I don't see ANYTHING about having to contract the virus to start building immunity.COVID-19 mRNA vaccines give instructions for our cells to make a harmless piece of what is called the “spike protein.” The spike protein is found on the surface of the virus that causes COVID-19.
COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are given in the upper arm muscle. Once the instructions (mRNA) are inside the immune cells, the cells use them to make the protein piece. After the protein piece is made, the cell breaks down the instructions and gets rid of them.
Next, the cell displays the protein piece on its surface. Our immune systems recognize that the protein doesn’t belong there and begin building an immune response and making antibodies, like what happens in natural infection against COVID-19.
At the end of the process, our bodies have learned how to protect against future infection. The benefit of mRNA vaccines, like all vaccines, is those vaccinated gain this protection without ever having to risk the serious consequences of getting sick with COVID-19.
