I’ve had both shots of the Pfizer. NO ONE HAS TOLD ME that I’d have some immunity from the first shot, in fact,

I’m told it will be 2 to 4 weeks before I have maximum immunity following the second shot.

I think it might be longer than that.

And they don't know for sure if the current vaccine will be effective against the new 20C/501Y.V2, B.1.351 lineage, South African COVID-19 variant (no offense).

Very depressing.

You have no immunity from either shot. You have to contract the virus and then and only then do you start to build immunity.

You are supposed to have a milder form of the disease, not immunity to it.

There are some excellent charts demonstrating immunity at 8 days, full immunity 35 days after first shot.
