I remember when she was nominated to take over the CIA, Dems hated her. A senile Feinstein kept questioning her about her actions as the head of a particular section of the CIA, except Haspel never worked in that section, and had to repeat that fact about 10 times before Feinstein understood. Republicans pretty much viewed her as a hardliner on terrorism and supported her. Now suddenly she’s part of ‘the swamp’. Seems to me she served her country and had a pretty good career at the CIA.
Will AOC be nominated to replace her?
Haspel had a public meeting with McConnell after election day. They are both from Kentucky. It was an obvious public show of support for her from China Mitch.
