So think about how hard it must have been for Trump to sort out truth from evil

**********************************

I strongly disagree. Except for a couple of idiots on this site, I don’t know anyone who didn’t know exactly what Barr was.

He was the master link in the chain of evil. Trump really screwed up with him. The right attorney general and the world looks so much different today.

Do you really think Mitch would have allowed the “right attorney general”?

There was a list of names the President could choose; none of them contained the “right attorney general”.

The game was rigged from the get-go.

Axios series is pure fanfic that gives NOT ONE SOURCE by name. It’s completely made up.

Of course the AG can't prevent the President from issuing a pardon, so of course it is nonsense.

Doesn't matter if you point that out - people will believe what they want to believe anyway. Kind of depressing, isn't it?

I suspect I was older when Ruby Ridge occurred than you are today.

And I had absolutely no idea who Barr was and is until someone posted his record on FR.

Which of Trump’s advisers do you credit for pointing out to him Barr’s evil past?

I read somewhere that McConnell insisted on Barr and that getting anyone else confirmed would have been almost impossible because of McConnell.

If that is not correct, feel free.

There is more to the swamp than we will ever know. I suspect that is why they are now trying hard to get Trump stopped from writing a book..

And lets not forget the worthless republicans legislatures in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona.

And the useless governors of Georgia and Arizona.

Barr would have never been approved if did not represent the swamp.
On the bright side he will be invited to all the liberal partys...

Trump got “Q-anoned” imo... Trust... Look up the 1920 Bolshevik operation to divide any intervention and military footing of the counter revolution with people admonishing to let the swamp fix it by itself.

It almost is as if Trump was Q annon, but I would not got that far. This is a fraud movement.

It baffles me that Trump has made such bad personnel decisions. He may be great at business deals but sucks at personnel.
After his election in 16 I said IMHO his biggest problem would be the fact that politics & business are diametrically opposed. And has never had to depend on politicians to get something done. In business he was boss. In politics he’s not the boss. He can’t simply bark orders.
But I would have thought he would have fired the leakers, traitors & incompetents. Or had at least someone he could trust. They hijacked his presidency.
The books written about Trump’s legacy should be interesting.

Sorry, that is one Trump. He missed on EVERY position dealing with federal law enforcement.

That takes skill to screw up every single selection.

Right. Just give the order. Trump had an obligation to protect property and lives, Dem Govs be damned.

Especially when they went after the Federal courthouse in Portland.

Mistake.

FTA: "Shortly before Trump confirmed that Barr would be gone by Christmas, the AG preemptively moved to block the President from pardoning National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden."

So how does an AG block a President from pardoning anyone that the President wants to pardon? The Constitution is pretty clear that the power to issue pardons and reprieves resets solely with the President.

Yes the post mortems will be fascinating.

Sadly, he didn’t have GOP support from both the House and Senate as his administration was being formed. Little did anyone know the deep state had it’s plan in motion even before the electoral vote was completed.

Priebus and Sessions (politican) were B team players and the task ahead required highly skilled All Stars......

All in all, the adminstration accomplishments exceed by far most other Presidential runs in the history of the country.....

I am NOT giving up on voter fraud.

They’re as insane about suppressing it as they were about denying Hillary’s corruption — and for the same reason: guilty. Guilty as hell.

STEALING ELECTIONS HAS CONSEQUENCES---OUR BRAVE NEW BIDENWORLD UPCLOSE
Biden’s camp is becoming increasingly paranoid after stealing the 2020 election....prepping for his inaugural,
(normally a happy affair) DC has been turned into an occupied military zone. There are more armed US troops
in DC than in the hellholes of Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan combined.
<><> Armed US troops are authorized to use lethal force
<><> troops man checkpoints to enter and leave downtown D.C.
<><> Green Zone and and Red Zone perimeters have been established.
<><> Several bridges into neighboring Virginia are scheduled to be closed.
<><> Razor wire on fencing is around the Capitol and USSC;
<><> large swaths of official Washington have been blocked to vehicular traffic.
<><> Biden’s transition team wants all ammo and magazines confiscated;
<><> Biden apparently wants to politically segregate soldiers who voted in GOP primaries;
<><> Biden wants soldiers who contributed to GOP candidates stationed away from the president-elect.

Biden’s lack of confidence in the US military is really strange.
After all, Biden get 100 per cent of the military vote in that “last bastion of election honesty”..... the state of Georgia.

Any fool can plainly see....the military loves Biden.

Biden’s show of military force wont wear well in Biden country.....the left abhors guns and despises the military.

And the right see Biden's paranoia and need for armed protection as indicative of his "tell-tale heart."

Since you refer to us as idiots, I will remind you that Ruby Ridge occurred 35 years ago.

I doubt that many could have named the AG at that time until freepers here recalled the story. Whether Trump remembered it without prompting, I don’t know but the fact remains that McConnell got the man he wanted.

No question Barr is deep swamp slimy critter and I doubt he would have become AG again were it not for McConnell.

McConnell probably worried that any other AG might take an interest in shipping, ship building and their relation to Chinese banking.

The dims could have screwed up on this.

Just imagine what you would think if you were one of the national guard and some idiot dim was questioning your patriotism.

So now you have maybe 20,000 or so disgusted with you plus alienating the crazies who hate military, cops and gun owners.
