Good for them. They will be the first to come out on the other side of this insanity. BTW, cases doesn't mean deaths or hospitalizations contrary to what they hypochondriacs and the power that be want us to think.

Despite a regional stay-at-home order, Reyes must report to work every week to maintain health insurance and pay her mortgage, she said. She worries about infecting her mother and what could happen to the family if she or her husband got too sick to work.

“I’ve lived here 34 years. I’ve given more to this country than to my home country,” she said. “More than anything, I want [local] leaders to see the plight we’re in.”

Wait until Joe Bidendementia brings in millions of new illegals to be fed, housed and treated for Covid and ????!

Hmm, could it be poor people are often poor because they make poor choices and are less likely to take proper precautions?

“I’ve lived here 34 years. I’ve given more to this country than to my home country,”

After 34 years, shouldn’t she’d think of the U.S. as her home country?

Sad news. Dr. Ferrer is NOT a medical doctor. Her Ph.D. is in social welfare from Brandeis. A good taste of the wrong background idealogues try to “run” things.
Has anybody considered the possibility that there are operatives purposely seeding the general population (with covid) during normal human gathering activities (like holidays) ???? Not saying it is so...but is there a possibility?

"As cases surge, it's very clear and very alarming that certain groups are, once again, bearing the greater burden of illness than others," the county's public health director, Dr. Barbara Ferrer, said Wednesday during her daily briefing."

"Dr" Ferrer... Another "Dr" Jill.

1. She's Puerto Rican, and in charge of the county health care system, so is she critizing herself for not taking care of her own people?

2. As for her title of "Dr", here's what kind of Dr she is...

"Dr. Ferrer has a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has a Master of Arts in Public Health from Boston University, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from Brandeis University."

Well, this is thanks to Democrats and their economic and immigration policies - keep the poor poor that are already here, and get more people into the country to further drive down wages and put a strain on resources, making less available to help people who truly need help.

And then of course blame conservatives for the results of *their* policies.

Yeah, because Whites, Asians, and those who speak over 160
different languages in Los Angeles, other than Spanish,
haven’t had any problems with COVID-19. /s

They didn’t lose jobs, businesses, their life savings, and
their homes. /s

Good to know. /s

There’s just never enough race baiting. /s
