The last time I checked, most everyone in uniform must have a secret clearance. This goes for fed employees. All a secret clearance means is they passed a background check that’s looking for felonies. A few references are called and interviewed.

On the other had a Top Secret is a much more thorough investigation is done where investigators actually interview people in person, including those requesting the TS clearance. For my last one I was interviewed 8 solid hours. I had to answer to every rock they turned over during the in-person interviews of others. I passed.

My point is this leftist rag does not know what it’s talking about and just trying to stir up more crap. Chances are the journalist writing this could never get a secret clearance himself.
