How long do you suppose that potential will be high?
Or put another way, how long do you suppose those that are putting in all this security will say it needs to remain there days, month, years?? after the inauguration?
I keep hearing repeatedly from media, written and radio, that Patriots should NOT protest...ever since the Jan 6 incident.
So now, no one will protest. We have become cowards again ie afraid to gather. Makes me angry.
I hope we don’t cower down. It would be pathetic if we did
There is a right time for everything.
I suspect once the Democrats get in and they will prove to be unpopular, it will make much more sense.
But for now, best to keep our powder dry.

Yes, but 4 years ago they expected a huge crowd for the inauguration. This year, it’s a virtual one other than a few invited people. I’m sure some people will show up in town but I doubt it will be the throngs like 2017.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens this week.
Most of the residential areas of DC are far away from the “action”.

No. I’m suggesting a new tactic. Forget carrying a flag or wearing a hat. No matter how docile you are in DC, you will be blamed for whatever happens. So, don’t be there. Instead, get involved in politics. As someone else suggested, the local school board is a good place to start.
Does anyone really think showing up for a “protest” is going to change anything? If not, consider alternatives that might change things.
I have contacted my representative and my senators twice to urge supporting Trump. No, they won’t see any messages I wrote. Instead, what they do is compile the emails into bar charts to get an indication of how us little people think. It’s not much, but it’s something I could do quickly.

You can go online and look at the videos. DC looks like a Ghost town. Who would want to go there with 26,000 heavily armed troops?

There is no conservative groups organizing this. It’s a cattle call to dupe people to come out so they can identify and track them for further spying.

Which is a correct statement. I have said that they have gone into a survival mode and drawn themselves up into their little fortress.
Yet everything outside, other than some state capitals, is wide open.
Right now, it is not safe for any of them to go outside of their safety zone. And they know it. They are now prisoners of their own making.
