Yes, but 4 years ago they expected a huge crowd for the inauguration. This year, it’s a virtual one other than a few invited people. I’m sure some people will show up in town but I doubt it will be the throngs like 2017.

Which is a correct statement. I have said that they have gone into a survival mode and drawn themselves up into their little fortress.

Yet everything outside, other than some state capitals, is wide open.

Right now, it is not safe for any of them to go outside of their safety zone. And they know it. They are now prisoners of their own making.

Remember Sen Hawleys family incident before this whole thing happened?

I have no idea who they’re setting up to protect or from what. It’s one of many questions I’ve had as we’ve watched this though.
