3rd graders forced to 'decontruct their racial identities' in class assignment Children then required to rank themselves according to their 'power and privilege'

An elementary school in Cupertino, California—a Silicon Valley community with a median home price of $2.3 million—recently forced a class of third-graders to deconstruct their racial identities, then rank themselves according to their “power and privilege.”

Based on whistleblower documents and parents familiar with the session, a third-grade teacher at R.I. Meyerholz Elementary School began the lesson on “social identities” during a math class. The teacher asked all students to create an “identity map,” listing their race, class, gender, religion, family structure, and other characteristics. The teacher explained that the students live in a “dominant culture” of “white, middle class, cisgender, educated, able-bodied, Christian, English speaker[s],” who, according to the lesson, “created and maintained” this culture in order “to hold power and stay in power.”

Next, reading from This Book Is Antiracist, the students learned that “those with privilege have power over others” and that “folx who do not benefit from their social identities, who are in the subordinate culture, have little to no privilege and power.” As an example, the reading states that “a white, cisgender man, who is able-bodied, heterosexual, considered handsome and speaks English has more privilege than a Black transgender woman.” In some cases, because of the principle of intersectionality, “there are parts of us that hold some power and other parts that are oppressed,” even within a single individu

Almost bought a home in this school district. Took a lunch break at the local McDonalds and was stampeded by rude, pushy Asians, with not a single one speaking English or cueing up.

We were so fortunate, our kids grew up in and went to public school in Lake Jackson Texas. Most of the teachers I knew were conservative, some were liberal. But they did not let their politics be known. They didn’t want to influence the kids! Now I realize how great that was!!!!!!!!!!!

didn’t they teach somewhere in the 1930’s about racial superiority?

Yes, there was. It was called Rassenkunde, race Knowledge. It was taught in schools by the teachers who joined the National Socialist Teachers League.

Cupertino has an absolutely massive Asian population, many of them rush as can be because of their involvement in tech. They’re much more interested in achievement than this kind of nonsense. I’d bet they can and will bring about a change, at least in this particular school

I was a corporate mergers and acquisitions attorney before I started my family. Now that my children are in their late teens (after having homeschooled them), I have decided to go back to school to get a masters degree in elementary education. I attend a nice Christian university in a very conservative part of SC. My classes are filled with projects about white privilege and guilt, social justice, etc. My literacy class, for example, doesn’t focus so much on teaching students to read as it does “bridging poverty” and “discussing discrimination”.

This is what is wrong with schools in general.

To the concerned Parents of California and throughout our Nation, if you truly love your children please find out what is being taught in the schools you send them to.

What are the parents doing about this? It is California, so many of them may approve of this.

All of these ideologies attempting to replace Christianity start with an original sin. For environmentalists, it is carbon footprint, for the social engineers it is power/privilege. Though they are damaging a lot of people, they will never supplant Christianity because they all lack the key feature that makes Christianity so powerful: Redemption.

I’ve stated it here numerous times, the only reason Chinese people aren’t considered the rudest people on the planet is because Indians exist.

So they’re trying to teach the little Asian kids about their white privilege and how their ancestors owned slaves? I don’t see this one working out for them.
