Literally within minutes of the 2016 election of Donald J. Trump, his opponents took to the streets declaring themselves “The Resistance.”
Some of us, myself included, considered that an act of what the “woke” like to call “cultural appropriation,” indeed an extreme—I would even say obscene—one.
CA is a term, many will recall, applied to those insensitive souls who allegedly steal from another group for their own gain or amusement, as in fraternity boys donning sombreros and drinking margaritas for Cinco de Mayo.
What was appropriated back in 2016 was something quite serious—“La Résistance”—the clandestine and highly-dangerous underground movement to subvert Nazi Germany’s control of France during the Second World War.
Although an astonishing number of younger Americans have little or no knowledge of the Holocaust, I would imagine most readers of this outlet realize that Germany’s takeover with the Vichy government’s compliance resulted in such events as the notorious July 1942 night time roundup in suburban Paris of 7000 Jews, including 4000 children, before they were shipped off for extermination.
Comparing that to the election of Donald Trump really is obscene, and also wildly anti-Semitic, unless, of course, you think saying nasty things about your opponents on Twitter is the equivalent of Auschwitz.

The word “sedition”, which was invisible for the last four years of open sedition, will suddenly be every other word in the Democrat media.

Being obstinate is not at all the same as being seditious.
Simply stating “I don’t understand” or “I don’t see your point here” is not sedition, it is being willfully obtuse. Not stupid, not ignorant, but a complete misconstruction of what is being demanded of you by a command-and-control regime, taking their instructions in the most literal manner that imagination can come up with.
Slow-walking any directed activity is also a course to follow,, in that you LOOK like you are complying, but in a maddeningly uninspired manner, procrastinating between moves, and seeming to wander off vacantly in between times.
And you can always behave like a whining little kid, asking “Why?” to every proposition, and just generally go into a sulk if there is no explanation. Hell, go into a sulk even if there IS an explanation. They treat us like children, then act like the most repulsive little brat they ever had to deal with. Then come back with “See what you made me do!” every time they don’t get the results they want.
Delivery trucks get lost, messages go unanswered, frequent sick calls, badly arranged appointments either at inconvenient places or never kept, there are a lot of ways to sabotage the chain of command.

As long as they have media to twist anything they like—any attempt will be used—The sad thing, even when we do nothing—they will manufacture or make a fake attempt and brand it as a Trump action. No, it won’t be called “resistance.”
It will be called Civil Disobedience.
And the left will be so confused by it that they will wish they had never had the opportunity of experiencing it.
We don;t call names like the left.

Here in the Puget sound you have an increase in Naval aviation activity with out of the ordinary flight corridors and unusual aircraft. I always see ea6b Prowlers and e2c Hawkeyes flying out of Whidbey Island but some of these aircraft I’ve never seen before. The local hippie, Left, snowflakes are outraged. If something was going down for them you’d think maybe they’d have an inside scoop? I’ve been in a myriad of military exercises in my life, above and below the water, but something doesn’t feel right.
