Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said in a statement Thursday that the Senate acted “appropriately” in impeaching President Donald Trump.
Murkowski, who is up for reelection in 2022, released a statement after the House voted to impeach the 45th president. She said that the president “perpetrated false rhetoric that the election was stolen and rigged.”

Palin said she was thinking about it a month or two ago. I betcha this made up her mind. I had friends on her father’s shortlist for his replacement. The list was a ruse. Everyone in AK knew she would get it. Any of the others on that list would have been better choices. She did win a write-in election, but I think the shine is gone.

Impeachment has gone from being a solemn debate, reserved for only the direst circumstances to a Three Stooges pie fight.
With any luck (and some fair poll watching), Lisa will be gone in 2022.
