All Pence had to do on 1/6/2021 was his job as the law prescribed. The law told him to count the “Lawful votes”, when the votes were presented from Arizona and objected to he should have said that his conscience would not allow him to count those votes as they were not legal votes and move on to the next state.
There was more than enough evidence presented in both chambers (even though he heard only the Senate) for a reasonable God fearing man with a conscience to state that he could not legally count those states and nobody would have been able to overrule him.
Mike Pence is not an honest God fearing man but a tool of the left.

And Newsome has named a replacement Alex Padilla...so until he gets sworn in after Harris resigns so it will be 50-49 McConnel and Republicans still in control. That’s why she’s hanging on; I don’t think Padilla is in town yet. Padilla can’t officially take over until she leaves. So I don’t know what the time factor will be. I assume it will be asap after the inauguration or just before.
