Vice President Mike Pence has called his soon-to-be successor Kamala Harris to offer his congratulations, according to two people familiar with the conversation.
It’s the first known contact between the elected members of the outgoing and incoming administrations. President Donald Trump has not reached out to President-elect Joe Biden and has repeatedly questioned the legitimacy of Biden’s win.
But Pence has become an unexpected defender of Biden’s. The vice president resisted pressure from Trump to object to the Democrat’s election win while presiding over Congress’ certification of the Electoral Vote count last week.
Pence will also attend Biden’s Jan. 20 inauguration, which Trump is refusing to attend.

I don’t trust Mike Pence, I think he’s a deep state plant.
That said, I doubt he called. This is just one more article listing anonymous sources. “Reporters” don’t have to have sources anymore. They don’t need to make calls or leave the building to meet with others. They just need to scan what’s happening in the news and make up something to help the left steal the election.
If he called, he did so despite the massive build up of military troops in the capitol, and other signs that the coup will not take place.
I'd be more willing to offer his a ride, and then lose him along the way.

He’s been a snake in the grass from the first week of Trump’s Presidency. The first thing he did was lie to get Flynn fired. He’s a treacherous POS.
And she congratulated Pence for launching Fauci and Birx upon us.
I think we should all follow Pence’s example.
We should call the local prison and find a bank robber, rapist, and/or murderer—and congratulate them on a job well done!
