To answer your question... yes. . They are that insane.
They would go full Che Guevara on us if they could
I would say yes but then again, my opinion does not seem to matter for much these days.
I think the lawsuit should be against the NHL rather than the employer. How could they possibly defend that?
NHL has deeper pockets, and they used improper influence to not just say they didn't want him serving THEM, but serving ANYONE.
“Buchanan’s Facebook account also contains posts that support Trump’s false claim that the 2020 election was corrupt.”
And there goes any attempt at journalism you may have been trying.
Why there are vintage games on YouTube that feature fewer helmets and less highsticking and cheap shot offences and more organ music and no obnoxious loud music and sound effects and none of this current corporate social justice nonsense.
I would be interested in a comment from the NHL.
little Chip would never eat lunch in Mediatown again if he didn't make an obligatory nod to The Daily Gaslight...
No NHL, NFL, NBA. They are dead to me.
Big time lawsuit......Start at $5mil.
here’s their contact info- i called last night and informed them the cancel culture works both ways: https://pjsgroup.com/about/contact-us/
“We” can also agree that only 5.6 angels can dance on the head of a pin, but that gets “us” just as far, which is nowhere. Washington DC & a handful of states have legal protections for private workers based on their political affiliation, but those are nebulous & not do not have the force of Federal backing.
TPTB do not abide by meek notions of “Constitutionalism” or “fairness.” They do what they want because they can. Who will stop them? The idiom “Take what you want and pay for it” doesn’t hold true for “them” because they own everything already. They can do whatever they want and pretend nothing’s out of the ordinary. If we attempt their tactics, we are stymied & pilloried.
Things only work one way now, do you not get it?
“Political preference is not a ‘protected class’ under civil rights law. Now if he was fired for wearing a dress to work, he might have a case.”
If he wore a dress to work and demanded his preferred “they” and “them” pronouns be used he would get a corner office with a view and a personal receptionist.
Now we know how the British felt at Yorktown.

There are concerted, well organized groups behind this efforet to identify nand de-employ Trump supporters. The Democracy Project is one, the Lincoln Project another, and there are several more. They took names starting months ago, doxed them, and now are going for max damage.
Until someone gets fed up and takes matters into their own hands, it will get worse before it gets better.
