The Jolt: Election deniers in (Georgia) state Senate stripped of chairmanships
Atlanta Journal-Constitution ^ | 1/13/21 | Jim Galloway

It’s payback time. The Republican rift in the state Senate came to a head Tuesday when Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan demoted three Republican senators who have backed attempts to overturn the presidential vote in Georgia over baseless allegations of irregularities.

When the bloodletting was over, state Sens. Brandon Beach of Alpharetta, Matt Brass of Newnan and Burt Jones of Jackson were sapped of their political influence on the second day of the winter session.

***

The three aggressively promoted President Donald Trump’s false claims of widespread election fraud, and pushed efforts to overturn the outcome that ran afoul of Duncan, who has called out the phony narrative.

Some state constitutions like GA, set the Lt. Gov as the functional head of the state senate. It is very difficult for any laws to come up to a vote without the Lt. Gov’s approval no matter what party may have the majority. Texas is like this and there are probably a few other states as well.

Arguably, in the states where the Lt. Gov has this senate role, the Lt. Gov is actually the most powerful politician in the state and not the Governor.

From what I could tell, the GA senate was within 6-8 votes of having the number needed for calling the special session in early December. Arm twisting and committee assignment threats or promises squashed the December special session vote very substantially once it was allowed eventually. Supposedly, our house leadership could whip up sufficient special session votes but was waiting for the senate to show its cards first.

Did you mean to post that to me? On a thread about the State of Georgia? Am I supposed to connect that somehow with my stating I was planning on moving to Florida?

If so, please explain.

Alabama is pleasant, prices for land or new/existing homes should be comparable to most of GA, and unlike Florida, we don’t have to rebuild our houses every other year because of hurricanes

I can hook you up with a great agent here in the river region if you want to look and get some ideas.

Actually these days they’ve hopped the solar panel bandwagon and want everyone to switch to solar. Solar won’t do well in NC, too many hurricanes.

“Renee Unterman, with a degree in Social Work from UGA?”

A degree in social work? So she’s basically dumber than Uga X “Que”?

“today in Texas they got a lady for mass harvesting...possible 20 years
Thanks Project Veritas & AG Paxton”

My mistake in not making it clear that I was talking about the presidential election fraud and not all other elections including the one you referenced which seems to be about the Texas Senate election.

>>Might be a dumb question but how does a state that has “Voter ID laws” also have “Mail in Ballots” ??

Simple. The SOS just does a back-room deal with the Commies to ignore all the fraud safeguards. No voter id required, no signature verification, no postmarks needed. If you vote in person then they apply the safeguards just to say they were enforced.

TO REVIEW THE GEORGIA SENATE ELECTION RESULTS
TRUMP SENDS IN AN ARMY OF FED PROSECUTORS AND DOES THIS

There were a series of fraudulent voting charges here. Were they enforced and corrected before this election took place ? If they weren’t is not a review called for ?
If the Georgia Secretary of State is in charge of voting he has the responsibility of enforcing the state’s regulations as to who votes. And eliminate those from voter lists who don’t qualify.

Assign prosecutors to personally canvass and investigate. Check if military actually voted by asking them. Identify all voters by checking on legal age their residency and citizenship. If found they do not qualify charge Illegals including state visitors known as snowbirds also include any technical computer fraudulent Italian programming testimony when presenting to the court and get these election results tossed. Try and get it done SAP before the 20th

Trump said he would teach the Republicans ‘winning’ again. We’re still loaded with losers that like losing. “Thank you may I have another”.

Yes, election integrity is a big deal. I’ll agree with you there. Texas does seem to have a problem.
