It’s payback time. The Republican rift in the state Senate came to a head Tuesday when Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan demoted three Republican senators who have backed attempts to overturn the presidential vote in Georgia over baseless allegations of irregularities.
When the bloodletting was over, state Sens. Brandon Beach of Alpharetta, Matt Brass of Newnan and Burt Jones of Jackson were sapped of their political influence on the second day of the winter session.
The three aggressively promoted President Donald Trump’s false claims of widespread election fraud, and pushed efforts to overturn the outcome that ran afoul of Duncan, who has called out the phony narrative.

Might be a dumb question but how does a state that has “Voter ID laws” also have “Mail in Ballots” ??
It is pretty obvious the Leftist/anti-Trump Republicans are in control in Georgia.
And it also explains why the GA Republican Leadership took zero action to investigate any of the voter fraud allegations.
The GOP is very splintered between the Leftist Republicans and the Trump Republicans.
Brandon Beach is a very good man. He did what was right.

The problem is - if you seek to rectify the situation, by recalling Raffensperger and Kemp, you will get Governor Abrams, if the GOPGA does not do its homework first and correct the flaws in the voting process. Kemp and Raffensperger deserve to be booted, but you need to get a good candidate ready and fix the vulnerabilities in the voting process first, or Abrams will simply run the same fraudulent process once again, and she will end up in the Governor’s mansion.

Most of the Florida Panhandle counties are 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties & very conservative. Lots of hurricanes & tropical Storms though & its getting worse.
Same political climate for 70 counties in Texas. Many are pimarily rural with a big concentration East of Dallas in East Texas & the Piney Woods. Very traditional Texan & very conservative too.
